    Hi, yes i have, they informed me that they do not cover cracks and that i took out the insurance just before the cracks started to get bigger.. i will phone them again as the person i spoke to didnt really know but then gave me the legal number which i have phoned and awaiting a fform to fill in to see if i have a more than 50% chance of winning.

    Which insurance company are you with? Are their policy terms available online, so perhaps someone can take a look at it for you?

    I know really helpful.. i think my problem is that im just oo polite and people tend to brush things under the carpet, but im going to try again, im with kwik fit insurance.. i have sent the pics over to NHBC so im hoping they do something.. i have the policy online and check it aswell.. thanx so much..

    Hi,

    Yes i am a single mum.. my husband passed away :( ...
    I have someone who used to work for the council coming down tomorrow to have a look and he will let me know about a Engineers Report. Also i phone NHBC and they told me that i will get a call back for someone to come down to inspect the cracks in my ceiling bedroom. I hope they come quick coz im not enjoying sleeping downstairs with the twins..

    Yes i am.. been downstairs since last Saturday.. i keep getting cement falling.. specially when the neighbours bang the door really and my floor creaks alot.. my sister got a house on the same close and hers is fine, no creaks and very minor cracks. Twins are okay as the cots are downstairs but im on the sofa and not helping my back but i did get 6 hours today, and feel fine
