Just came back to cross my list off as I thought I had got nothing done and couldn't remember the rest. Actually I'm not doing too badly. That's all 6 animals sorted, just need to sort timers in the morning to automist and to feed them all then they are holiday ready (only away until Wednesday) I'm still waiting for stuff to dry to pack so that's put the brakes on getting that sorted. Most of the toiletries are done now, need a hairbrush & some hairspray. Kids have been given the job of a packing 'stuff to do' bag so I'm not taking responsibility when they have nothing to do. They'd had a shower after swimming so no need for baths :) one less job.
One day I might be more organised...........

Yup, according to my teens valli, that's what it is. Nice river photo.:D

I've been lazing again today, still feeling really tired. I have done a few loads of washing though.

This afternoon, we bought a new mattress for DD's room - and a new bed and mattress for ours!!! I'm quite excited about this, as we've had the bed for 25 years, and the mattress for 16. Delivery in two weeks - hopefully by then, DD's room will have been gutted, repainted, and the new floor laid. No pressure then.:D

sexy - glad you're feeling better today! I mad soup too - roasted Uchiki kuri squash with a little olive oil and chilli flakes, then added the flesh to chicken stock, and liquidised. Very autumnal, with a bit of a spicy kick - I added cumin too.

froddington - hi!! Have a lovely halfterm.

dusty - love the cat photo. It was that sort of day here too.

hex - I've done the link, hope it worked.

Love and hugs, especially for toots, lady liberty and diva.

Oooooooooooops, my finger slipped, and it's gone again :rotfl:

Just got back to the in-laws from Bath Uni. DD loved it, so we've now seen 5, another later in the week, she may put Falmouth down without seeing it  So even with one Uni withdrawing a course, she has to whittle 7 down to 5 :o

Off to raid the chocs and spirits from the well-stocked cabinet. I'll call it helping MIL declutter :p

I'll have to see if DS still has any left - they give them out to teenagers.;) but he might have found a use for them;)

Sorry  but if you insist on going to such awful places :rotfl:well it might be an excuse not to go! I'm 2 or 3 miles from Durham centre now, not far really and we don't have snow but the more inland bits of Hartlepool have had some, to be fair I doubt it will stick. I'm going to have to check where East Cheshire is as I have no idea :rotfl:

PenPen at least she's got quite a few to choose from, my friends DD only had 2 on her list and got refused both :(

Dogs in a right weird mood, he's wandering about sniffing everything since he came in the house from the garden, he's sniffed his other bed (holiday one usually sits on top but is in wash) and has refused to go in it.....think he knows we're going away.

Right, lets go see if those clothes are dry as I need to get this bag packed!!
