  • OH has cleared the driveway of all the junk that has built up (old bed, door, and a load of other rubbish!) and has taken it to the tip :) also pots are washed and kitchen sides are wiped. I've got a washing, drying thing going on at the mo too so gonna keep that up today as the washing pile is scarily big, esp when there's only 2 adults in the house - eeeeekkkk also done abit of shredding has got BAGS of letters! (never thrown a letter away since moving in!) so gonna have a quick drink now and do abit more on the master bedroom!! Xxx

Love the pictures Dusty - I have the woodburner on so Matthew is asleep on the footstool, Tiger is on my knee, George, Don't Do That is giving him the evil eye from her box on the windowsill, and we are honoured by a rare visit from Ozmatron who is purring away curled up next to me on the sofa. Cold and wet outside - toasty in the Snug.

DH and SS1 have tiled the splashback for the bath so the room is almost ready for painting, just some patch repairs to the ceiling tomorrow then it is mine to finish off so DH can move onto getting DS2s room finished for December. The floor is on two levels so some work to do before we plaster.

ETA - Valli, nice happy photo

Sparkey finally turned up here a week late but i now have my plugs in. Still need the fridge and DW wired in but it can wait until next time. He's said things will be quiet round christmas so he'll come back and get the rest done. :D

Hubby been this morning and is now fast asleep on the sofa.

I've lit the fire, cleared the kitchen table, WM on again and TD. Kids heading to youth club at 7 so i need to get them sorted.

Dusty love the pics, your DS looks ready good in his outfit.
Valli well done on the river clean up.

Need to get the sticks in for tonight.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Hello!! I am here!! It's half term :j although the news about Pompey has dampened my spirits somewhat :( Scratch that - it looks like something could be sorted by tonight :D :j :D Fingers crossed (and everything else too!!)
Glad there is some hope froddington.

Heard the Pompey FC news on the radio this morning and immediately thought of you - 'that's my friend's team' :rotfl:
  • Valli great photo - love the bright gloves! Shame about slipping but a good excuse for a nice warming bath.

Dusty love the piccie of the cats - just absolutely love it!! and congratulations to you for producing such a smart and handsome master Shakespeare!!!!
xxJoxx thanks hun I did have a lovely evening but yes tired as i had my shopping to do with my carer this afternoon too - I remember now why I usually stay at home on a saturday - Mr A was a nightmare! Was at the Concert Hall last night to see Blake - they have lovely voices - maybe not as slick and showy as Il Divo but they sung a huge variety of stuff and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Moneytroubles welcome to the thread - as pigpen said it takes time and keep doing what you are doing by working away on bits and it will all come together - as its you and DH and you are working - will he be persuaded to help? it would be good if you can rope him in now and get him into routines before the baby arrives - it wont be so much of a shock to him then!! I will be sending you a pm shortly.
Hi Froddy honey - have been looking for you - I am glad you are now on holiday and will have a chance to catch your breath and relax a bit. Please dont worry about missing my birthday I knew you were snowed under xx
