Hi and welcome!!
Start with a roll of binbags and in one place and don't expect miracles the first week.. one step at a time and if it isn't al done it doesn't matter the rooms come round again next week and you'll eventually see a huge improvement.. it usually takes about 4-6 weeks before things get easier!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Well I've just had a good cry - chopped up lots of onions that have been hanging around so that I can make onion soup (they were those small but really strong ones, so my eyes were streaming), as I'm fed up with them being in the way. I've got them caramelising as we speak. This'll be the first time for me making this soup, so fingers crossed, as kinda making it up as I go along.
I've done the food shop, and as the rain appears to have gone over, I think I'm going to put a load in the wash before the weather changes its mind. It's blowy and sunny so fingers crossed it stays that way.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Been potching about this morning and got a few bits done. OH in work and DD just gone out with DSD.
Going to have a look through the thread and a nosey round the boards now.
Oh, was talking to my mother yesterday and she is willing to loan me the money for the car insurance rather than getting the 0% credit card, so all temptation has been removed!!!! Thanks all for the advice about it though....this is def a better solution....xx0 -
Thanks for the welcome
I've made a start on the master bedroom as this is where I "hide" most of my junk! Actually started last Sunday and think I've thrown around 6 bags away so far :O but keep doing so much and then leaving it and then going back to it later! Think I've done the hardest part and can now see a light at the end of the tunnel
I so want to be house proud and feel good for making a start on it. Were having our first baby in May so really wanna turn this house into a home! Xxxx

Afternoon all
One demon job done - the details file I've been creating
Bathroom cleaned - just need to do the floor in a minute
Kids all so delighted it's half term, younger two at squash at present.
Plan is to do an hour in the garden in a bit and then light the BBQ for dinner - we'll be eating inside but fancy some BBQ salmon
MSG - hugs sweetie, hope the infection clears soon xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Mudders pleased outlook is good for stripes and yay to walkies again!
Moam great news about the tutor, my Ds1 (aged 11) has been offered 10 weeks maths tutoring at school next half term then 10 weeks in literacy in Feb. They're doing it with the government initiative around not getting desired SATs, to be honest he didn't do badly but he had not covered a lot of the work on them so I am pleased they have offered immediate support.
Well I'm in a right one, I started off the day finding a Cc my interest free one and realising it's at max (int free) so went to pay it off - will take 5 days arghhhhhhh so hunt begins for my other cards which I have misplaced. I have found one I haven't used in a year so going to test it at the petrol station later, fingers crossed as getting to London is looking bleak. Plus side is there is emergency only cash somewhere I can use & I cleared a sack of rubbish from my bedroom floor!
Got an hour or so before the boys are back, snooze or keep searching & packing * yawn I am so tired*One day I might be more organised...........
