tis a tiny restaurant BUT really nice...we went there for the other sept birthday but only 3 of us

of 'the girls ' I'm going with Karen is a friend nand former colleague from the early 80s...we've seen each other through 2 weddings and two divorces, Denise - I went to her 21st party, she's 2 years younger than me and has supported me when times were bad (see above) and the others too - good friends great company

Karen has - on my advice - had free rein in my house to think things through a couple of times...
how good a friend is she?

well! She was promoted OVER me once...so she was my boss for a while (though she's younger than me) but we 'pick up'...we have NEVER EVER had a cross word.

She was the friend who had to have a hysterectomy - never had her own babies. Unfair!

Well I managed to keep on top of the bathroom all week, and the kitchen too. But alas other then making the beds everyday, thats about all of my good intentions. Spent a lot of time on the telephone sorting out the beginning of the house move.
Today its a quick look around each room, and shove things away, so I can hoover then, I can go to see my BF for the rest of the weekend.
Which also means packing clothes and toys for DGD to keep her amused. Luckily there are toys of his grownup children still there for her to play with, so its just the bedtime favourites.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
