Boddy - it's one day a year I volunteer for something (and that's because it's fun) - you volunteer week in week out!
and self interest too - I like my local country park and appreciate the amenity on my doorstep.
But thanks you and everyone else for your kind comments!

    Piggers
    you booger !

    Dusty
    - he looks brilliant! Well done you!

valli That one day you do makes a big difference to the river and the life in and around it. It sounds like you really enjoy it. We have a big Country Park here and I appreciate that too. Well done you! Hope you have warmed up.

tooch I half snoozed, half sorted :) well ok half an hour of each but felt a bit better for it thank you.....still no revelations of where the other cards are

Well the CC I found works, it's not a low interest/no interest one so I MUST remember to pay off in full after it's been used. I just don't want to risk taking a lot of cash with us. It did take me until the last attempt to remember the bloomin' pin number which was scary!

Reading reports of SNOW and HAIL in Hartlepool which isn't that far from us, bloomin' hope the snow stays away until we've been away.

I've got quite a lot to do before we leave but we now can't leave until after 1pm tomorrow as DP needs to open his club, !!!!!! noone else to do it.

    LIST for tonight -

[STRIKE]Bath (no need as been showered) and feed monsters
Feed all the animals - inc the senile lizard who just tried to bite me.....thought I was food I think
Hang swim kits to dry when washed [/STRIKE]
Pack my clothes once dry, DSs clothes, DPs clothes, toiletries and [STRIKE]stuff 'to do' [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Do a little water change in the turtle tank & find a timer for it [/STRIKE]DP sorting
[STRIKE]Wash woofs dishes ready to go to DPs Dads oooooooooh no I forgot to wash his bed so I best do that too[/STRIKE]in DW and WM
Wash cloths that are sat in a bucket or they will be pongy
    [STRIKE]Fill DW up and on
Sort fridge for stuff that needs to go in freezer
Text milkman MUST remember that one [/STRIKE]
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Well done on the river cleaning and thanks for sharing the photo.

    Dinner done.

DS1 and DH gone to the golf awards ceremony - DS won a tournament this year and is the club's most improved golfer of the year but not sure what if anything he wins. They both look so smart suited and booted :D
