Thanks for the vibes guys, friend just rang so happy that the school have offered her DD a place starting the week after half term. They are giving her all of half term to have a good think about it all as a family and then she will need to tell the present head of the move.

Piggers - so sorry Sally has had more heartache

Had a lovely hour in the garden, need to do a bit of cooking now and put the kettle on for one of my other lovely friends to visit.

Sunday night case packed so that is a start, I've decided to pack a small one for Sunday then the medium one for Monday and Tuesday night so we can leave the other in the car.... Seems to make sense and keeps is more organised. Washing like mad now to get the clothes we want to take clean/dry as DP just dumped a pile on me, grrr!

Turtles are getting some sunning in the garden as I haven't got them a UV bulb yet as just found out you can't get them for the tank we had for them which is a bit of a mare, but it does mean they are getting definate sunshine each day if it's forced. A hassle dodging the mouth of the big one - grumpy! - to put them in the box but good for them to get natural sun

DP has gone to bed as he's done an early run then he's in tonight, so quiet jobs, more washing and flinging!

Dusty good luck to your friend and their DD hope it goes well
One day I might be more organised...........

More washing done, some dryed and put away. :D

Rhys now away for a nap so i think i'll find my list and make a start on the bathroom.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    !!!!I GOT THE JOB!!!!
It's only 8 hours a week but the money will replace my vanishing child benefit (thank you govenment).

    Happy Birthday Macpep

Been ironing since I got back from the school run. I can't believe I still have ironing to do as I've done my HHI and more every day.

DSD has been admitted to Addenbrooks because her iritis is so bad. The iritis is a secondary complaint to the intercostal muscle problem. I'm going to pick up DS3 and DD2 from school and take them up to see her. DH is working 15 hour days and can't get in to see her until Saturday. Thank goodness it's half term and we are going away he really needs the break.

House is badly in need of some love. Better get to it.

    Afternoon all.

    Happy Birthday macpep.

Piggers sorry to hear about Sally.

    Posi-vibes for Stripes.
I am constantly being told by my OH that I am a rubbish wife/person with regards to houswork and I whilst I sit here, I am crying so much that I can just about see to type. pathetic isnt it?? I feel like I really need some friends right now. How can I get organised please? I have never really been organised really in my life and no matter how hard I try.....its never good enough for anyone. please can someone help me turn things around?
Firstly, dry your eyes. You can't possibly do any housework if you can't see properly through tears. (I know, 'cos I've tried!).:o Second, stick a polishing cloth, or the hoover, or the iron in OH's hot little paw and tell him to get crackin'; part of the mess must be his, so he should help clean. Third, and I'm sure others will back me up here, you only have to be good enough for you. Believe you're a good person, and all else will fall into place eventually. Baby steps, use the lists for guidance, do Level 1 to start with, and if you don't get it all done, hey, who's going to die because of it? The rooms come around again next week.:o

I probably just need the motivation, tbh, dd does her own room, ds tries(!) to do his, not to my standards but i close the door, just need to clear the backlog, but on days off just hope to veg as much as possible recently.....have had 3 deaths in the past year, including my dad, and an attempted murder, so been busy keeping everyone else in one piece, so home has been the last thing on my mind! Am now at the stage i want to burn it all when i look! have done 3 rooms over the last 2 days, so nearly there!!!! just need to keep on top of it all really!
OMG you've really been through the mill. Motivation a-plenty here.:o

my boys, (the're 21 and 22 now), used to aim at a ping-pong ball floating in the pan. It stayed clean  and didn't flush away. But it sure does improve their aim, which small boys are terrible at.;)
*Wonders if this would work with a 60-year-old who can't aim when he's had a few ciders......*:rotfl:

    So far today I have
    washed up
    s&s the bathroom
picked up the rubbish on DD bedroom floor and put it in the bin (she is a slob)

Just got a letter confirming my pay rise and backdated pay too:j:j:j:j so as you can imagine I am a happy camper!!

Started to write my sedentary list last night (haven't actually done anything apart from write the list tho')

    knitting
    rainbow accounts
    cross stitch
    filing/shredding pile
    sort out drawers in sideboard
    sort filing drawers
empty carp out of under bed storage units- move these into DD room
rearrange glass cupboard, chuck all odd glasses and unused tea-light pots etc.
    sort tupper ware cupboard
tidy behind the sofa (going through lots of old files)
    update go-online
    rainbow planning and paperwork
    make a Christmas list
organise finances-fill in spreadsheet and start to use it properly
    book a bin cleaner
post form to insurance company from in patient time

okay it looks like a big list bit I have got at the least 4 more weeks off work!! and I will start with the most sedentary until I am feeling a bit more mobile

atm I am still waiting for the 'fridge man to come and replace my fridge door, he was meant to be here between 11-1......HMMMM:(:(:(
Would quite like a nap but...you can bet that as soon as I lie down he will appear! He came last week but they had sent the wrong door (!!!!!) ho hum, may go and do a bit of knitting to keep me awake!
    :T:T
