Question for someone with a clear head. Mine is all fuzzy with a sinus infection and tonsilitis. If I bought 3 totes at the christmas evening when you get 1200 points per £50. How would that work out pricewise as opposed to waiting till Christmas and paying say £30 each.
Thanks in advance.Mortgage Free as of 31/5/11 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
It seems to me that boots are very clever and artificially "inflate" the price of some of these gift items, knowing full well that they are worth nowhere near the RRP and then attempt to create a hyped up buying frenzy with their "super deals". Great value when they used to be on 3 for 2 as well as OOTW but sadly this is no longer the case in recent years. I love S&G, but there is no way on earth that tote is worth £60 on its own. You could pick up most of the items way cheaper individually on the 3 for 2 offer.
I think we should all boycot buying their big gifts entirely and force MR B to have them all in the 75% off sale lol!!!! Ok, ok......I can dream lol!!!0 -
Thanks OP. I have just ordered 7 Ted Baker OOTW. I have a large family and this is a nice present I can give the ladies without going too overboard on cost. This cost me £133 with free delivery as opposed to £280 at full cost.

It would be 3 tote bags for £120. You would get £24.80 in offer points (£24.00 on your £100 spend and 80p for your £20 spend based on 4 points per pound spent). So in boots logic you would pay £95.20 in total. SO basically, it would cost you £5.20 more (£31.73 ish each) than if bought on OOTW but you would be gauranteed the bags without the risk of them going out of stock. Well worth it if you want 3!0 -
Just been looking on the boot site- the rumored sanctuary drawers are not available- could this be to save stock for OOTW? Does it usually happen? Really want the SG bag- but don't think its as nice as the hat box!!0

That's exactly what I did, better to get it then regret it (when they sell out, no shoving either
always a bonus). :j 0
