I think it will be the £35 s&g gift set on offer and not the £60 one....maybe

That would be great as I'd prefer that one, but doubtful -- it's typically the most expensive gift set in a range which gets put on OOTW. And as others have said, it's often the set that gets its own page in the Christmas catalog. Why do you think it will be the £35 set?

Yes that's the one and I also bought (well free as part of the 3 for 2 offer)
    http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Pamper-Proof_1115883/

I also bought some individual ones which I made up as my own gift set. in a lovely pink and white candy striped box with pink and purple tissue paper, I arranged them all and took a picture which I stuck on the front of the box. Tied it with a pink and green ribbon & cover with a sheet of plastic, it looks really good ( I hope she appreciates the hard work, lol)

So hoping the OOTW is http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Pink-Big-Tote-Bag_1115903/ which would probably be for her birthday.

I got the Sanctuary Spa http://www.boots.com/en/Sanctuary-Spa-Sumptuous-Sanctuary-Collection_1115907/ as one of my other 3 for 2, and although I have the large gift set in my wish list not sure if I will get it if it goes on offer as most of the stuff is the small travel size. I think I priced that up at about £41.57 (based on some of the full sized products).

I've never tried sanctuary products. Would you recommend them then?

  • Can any of you could answer a query I have ref the boots points? I've got about £20 worth on my card at the moment, can I just use them at the till or do I need to exchange for a voucher? Also, if I wanted to buy the 3 S&G totes on the 342 deal on one of the extra points nights, would I be able to pay some of the £120 in the points I've already got on my card? Or would that mean I wasn't entitled to the extra points? I'm assuming you can't earn points when you pay with points, so how would that affect the amount I'd get? I don't really shop in Boots except for xmas so I don't really want to build the points up too much as they'll just sit there. Does anyone have any ideas?

Never tried them myself Lucy but my daughter likes them and they do get some good reviews :) The set I made her up are mostly moisturisers (3 different ones as I was not sure what she used), Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Supply Mask (2).

As far as I understood with boots points you have to buy a product to the value of the points as a separate transaction, so don't think you could use it as part payment for the 3 for 2 items. (if I have that wrong I am sure someone will be along to say otherwise :)

you cant part pay with points and the rest of it money it has to be all or nothing

if something cost £5 but you only have 499 points you can not put 1p towards it.
