This weather is NOT conducive to getting the amount of stuff done today that I need to!!

So much for returning library books, procuring items from the Waitrose on the other side of town and visiting the haberdashery shop to get some Christmas fabric for my homemade jarred things.

Small consolation in that I've made 1/2 the fudge and 1/2 the biscotti is in progress. DH is also on his way home as it took him 2.5hrs last night and it's just started blizzarding...

I'm also worried now that DH won't be able to do his Christmas present experience day tomorrow...the voucher expires on Christmas Eve, I would hope they'd let us extend it due to weather???

*wonders what has made CAFC contented/relieved*

    sleeping baby.....
I have one of SS and CAFCs lists today.

Wash all bedding, clean oven and bathrooms, iron.
OH is currently hoovering, whilst i'm still in bed. Oops!

Also need to dig out the DVD Nativity that I bought, may put it in this afternoon and get festive, when Joe has had enough of the snow!

Therefore if you've got my list does that mean I dont have to do it?:T

I have hoovered the bathroom and kitchen, and oven, ready for mopping, done half the washing up, sterilised bottles.
Just need to make up some bottles, get rest of laundry put away, tidy L's room, put a load of wash on, mop said floors, an clear all the carp off the stairs that i put on there thinking and when i go upstairs i'll take that up................ Oh the lies I tell myself :rotfl:

On a more positive note, CTC, CB and DH's wages have paid in :T and there is ZERO snow here....

  • Hi searching. I saw your post but didn't have anything extra to add - any sign of the council/serco/whoever it is that comes to fix things for you?

I'm under a sleeping child at the mo. Trying to keep her awake today as when she has a nap she then stays up till after I want to go to bed, but half an hour shouldn't cause too many problems. I could really do with a nap myself but never mind. If she goes off fine tonight then I can straight away afterwards if I feel the need :)
