Susan, it certainly is. OH mum was given thalidomide whilst pregnant with his oldest sister - thankfully, she only took one tablet.

Merfe, hope you'll feel better after your Chinese and bath.

Hugs for those who are poorly - lot about at the moment.

I know! She asked for them when she fell with my brother (she'd had 5 miscarriages prior to me, and been told the injections helped her keep me) and was told that she was lucky I'd been born at all if she'd been given those :eek:

  • Morning all :hello:. I went to bed at half nine last night, but have woken up full of cold so that might explain why I was so tired. I can't complain now as lots of people have much worse nasties at the moment.

Exciting day at chez GISI today. Henry is off to stay at his Nanny's overnight so that DH and I can both do early shifts at work in the morning, then we're supposed to be going to a party tomorrow night while H stays with his grandparents again, although if I'm as full of cold a I think I might we won't be going to that as two of my best friends are pregnant and I would hate to make them ill.

I hope everyone else is feeling better today.

    Morning!

Bah, stupid winter cold is back again, the evil !!!!!!. I didn't get anything productive done in my few hours off yesterday, as I just felt way too tired so the house still looks like a mess and I still have a million and one Christmas prep things to do this weekend.

Really glad I have no cash in my wallet so I will not succumb to the temptation of gorgeous bacon sandwich.

    Morning all!

Glad you're on the mend Merfe.

Not a busy day here at all, Stinky Monkey managed a 12 hour uninterrupted Snoozapalooza, which was wonderful - I was in bed at 8:30 too and am feeling nearly human, just a bit queasy-sick still but much better. I'll probably take the small one out again later on but I'm undecided about where yet. I want to make sure she's ok for her Gymboree Christmas party tomorrow.

(Hugs) to Mel and all the other poorly ones - there is far too much of it about at the moment.

I have my laptop back :j, the hard drive died, so OH got a new one and replaced it yesterday. I've lost all my docs :( including my Christmas list so when people open their presents on Christmas day, I will be as surprised as they are!

I have been reading via my phone, but it was too much of a faff to post.
