I knew he was Jake (or is it Milo?) ... I also noticed his name on the credits on Timmy Time, but i couldn't work out who he is. It seems a bit odd really - I mean realistically I imagine he must be able to command quite a high salary (no idea how much, but he is quite a big name, so must be quite high compared to others iyswim)... why would you pay him to say "baaaaah" when you could pay some recently graduated drama school person to do it for £50 iyswim.... but I suppose his name is a big draw too.

He's Jake... I didn' know he was a Tweenie but as soon as I read that I knew it would be Jake!

Apparently he's highly qualified in child psychology (or something like that) and is very involved with the content of his programmes. Probably why so many kids love him and so many adults find him creepy :rotfl:

    Un question.........

When weaning, how much food do you let diddy person eat? When its like first tasters I mean...

L tried some banana/pear rice pudding yesterday and seemed to quite like it, and had maybe quarter of a jar. so today thought we'd try it again and he seemed to just be happy to shove more in his mouth.... but i wasnt sure if he should have all of it and not have as much milk just yet or what?

honestly im such a noob I havent got a clue what i doing weaning him...............

  • that's what I was going to say too Jillie - if he wants more then it won't be too much :). I don't know about reducing milk though. BF means I didn't have to think about that kind of thing, just carried on with the on demand thing.

opps then..... i took it away when he got about 4 spoons from the end of it... but only so he would take his full milk feed...which he did about 15 minutes after the puree

tomorrow i'll just keep going with him. Should I have him on the same puree again or try new flavour?

  • I think they say not to try a new thing more often than every 2 days, so you have time to make sure there are no nasty reactions lurking. Are you giving him a bit of extra water too? You may well find he gets a bit constipated to start with while his body gets used o digesting real food, but having a bit of water too will help :)
