True but it was obvious from the conversation that R.mac and caz have met before and are planning to meet up again - it seems to be following the letter of the rule rather than the spirit of the rule. I do use the abuse button if I think it is warranted (e.g. people are making offensive posts) but to report other people having a secret santa just because we were told off would be petty and unlike a situation where someone is being offensive or I think someone is actually in danger I don't think we have a moral duty to report things just because they are technically against the rules. Even the forum team only edited "Joe's Mum"'s post about a certain camp even though she clearly stated it was an AE which is technically against the rules. If they are willing to allow things which are technically against the rules because they judge it to be acceptable in a particular circumstance then I would argue we don't have a moral duty to report something technically against the rules if we feel it is acceptable.I'm going to be a bit of a mard now (what do you mean I always am!
)
We all know that offering things out on here isn't allowed - there is a FB group set up for a reason. We have got away with bending the rules for a while but at the end of the day the BGs have a job to do and its unfair to shoot the messenger as it were, when they carry out their obligations. If you spot rules being broken in here or other threads then you have a moral duty to report it

I'm so slow. Yes I am friends with Wilma but I'm confused about the hair group as I can't see any discussions where I thought was the hair group.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »she has just posted a discussion on the hair group,.

Indeed, and I question how well-judged the button pressing was there too. Certainly a couple of posts were removed because they hurt someone's feelings - but does that mean they were actually delete-worthy? I'm not sure
Although actually, I think Susan has said it best so I'm going to stop typing.
I don't think they're [STRIKE]hitlers[/STRIKE] though - it's a thankless job they do and I am sure they are doing it in the way they feel is best. Unruly mummies disagreeing with them isn't going to change their minds.
Does that mean that when we meet in real life we can't exchange any personal details? I'm going to feel a right muppet asking a person in a cafe if she's MacSmiler :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I wonder what they want to do that they couldn't do today? My dating scan with Alice was at eleven weeks anyway.Evansangel wrote: »Im bck from my dating scan scan, have to go back for another one in 2 weeks as im only 10+1 now.
