Skint Monkey - It sounds silly but the oats really do help! My little one is 7 months today and my supply dwindled when I started weaning so I needed to get it back up again. I started having porridge for breakfast, oaty bread, and flapjacks every chance I got and it doubled over a couple of days. I'm sure someone else has already linked to it but incase they haven't here's a thread about it http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=29652797&postcount=4312Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Happy Birthday Josh:j
MDW - oooops at your car! fwiw, I forgot to take ds1 swimming last night, he has lessons on a friday at 6.30pm, it just went clean out of my head.....despite talking about it on the way back from school and then making sure dinner was done by 5pm!!!
No snow here, thank god...don't really like the stuff tbh:p
AND T seems to be improving...the anti-biotics are obviously kicking in, I had smiles last night before bed and this morning........and she actually slept most of the night in her cot:j K's cough seems to be getting worse though so may end up at the out of hours gp's over the weekend with him:cool:
I am undecided whether to do an Asda online order, I usually use Tesco for delivery, but we have kind of got use to quite a few Asda products that you can't get equivalants of in Tesco iykwim? I have always been put off by bad reports of their home delivery service though??
xx

We have loads of snow here! Usually they salt our road and even salted part of it all through last winter but they've sent a snow plough through instead.
For skint monkey here's elle's profile if you want to PM her, she is always happy to help expressing mum's, her LO was in the various stages of special careness for about 2 months after his birth, she expressed for around 12mths and has also completed the BFing peer supporter trainingAlso see bellow for some useful links

We were planning to go and see the 3 wise men and their camel's today in warrington but I doubt we will now
Chris's cold is at the worst today and the phlegm made him gag and retch so he's being a right misery now
he's tucked up next to me under his furry dalmatian blanket and keeps asking if I can make him better yet :A
I have to tell how adorable he is thoughWhen I picked him up from nursery the other day he was sat in the quiet area next to a girl reading books together, it was so sweet. When I said come on its home time say bye bye he refused until they'd finished their book:happyhear
I've just ranted at the window "stop parking in front of my drive, use the carpark you lazy swines" and he asked what I was talking about so I explained and he said "how dare they! how dare they park in front of our drive" :rotfl::TI don't know where he gets it from :whistle:0 -

thanks for the advice yesterday, I'm leaking like crazy today so hopefully it'll be ok tomorrow. I did get a fever yesterday afternoon which had me a bit worried but not sure if it was related or I had whatever DS was sent home from school with on thursday. Went to bed at 8pm shivering like crazy and woke up almost human this morning. OH camped himself on the sofa and let baby sleep in the pram and did all the night feeds bless him. He was supposed to do overtime today but had to cancel it, which is a shame because we could do with him making back some of his paternity leave pay but he couldn't drive all day after being up so much at night.
We have no snow here yet but looking forward to getting some this afternoon hopefully.0 -
I'm looking for Christmas Present help....I need a electronic sudoku for my dad. Mr priorites are clear screen, back light and user friendly. He wants to take it on holiday so will use it on plane etc and also sitting outside. He's quite into his sudoku as well so needs to be fairly challenging. Can anyone recommend one? (or share any bad experiences of ones I need to avoid!) I've looked on amazon and they have sooooo many that my head is pecked lol. So far this seems to have the best reviews but is quite expensive compared to others. (I dont mind that if it's worth it tho) and carol vorderman and mensa have awful reviews so will avoid them. Any suggestions for where else to look also welcome.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
