BM it does sound like she is making progress with food though - eating it with her eyes closed is better than not eating it at all iyswim

Aimee loves me today... Yesterday about 2pm I absolutely HAD to have some pancakes... I put the rest of the mix in the fridge and made pancakes for the girls for breakfast... Aimee was well impressed... Caitlyn less so... She chewed up and spat out hers and nicked my rice krispies!
We've had 5mm of snow... Again, Aimee's overjoyed and wants to go straight out to play... Me less so... I have a driving lesson at 9... Eeep!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

We've got about 6 inches of snow here now. I didn't go to boot camp this morning.
I'm supposed to be going to work this morning. My neighbour has just tried to get out of our street and is currently stuck at the top and various neighbours are trying to dig the car out. I'm not sure if I'm going yet or not.
Josh is 14 today.
I said he could come with me this morning and I'd take him to the Sunderland club shop so he can pick his own main present. I've had to say that might not be possible today now but he's fine about that. It's never snowed on his birthday before. I did get him some books and sweets, so at least he's had something to open.
Have a good day everyone and stay safe in the snow xxHere I go again on my own....0 -

She seems interested in food though, like when im eating something she doesnt (most things
) she will ask about it and normally say YUK to whatever my answer is
but then want to feed me. I used to let her, but she has a tendency to bang the fork off my gums, and i do need some gum

Quite a few people in need of hugs today so huuuuuuugr *HUGS* for you all
Can I have some opinions on this please? It seems a really good price but is it worth it? I do want some sort of activity table but was going to wait until his birthday. (May). I don't want to let it go if it's a really good deal. What sort of age would it be suitable for?
I meant to say that we have the older version on this for H and he still loves. I think I bought it when he was about 8 months and he's played with it every day since. I paid £12 second hand, so that is a great price.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Lily is still asleep, im just laying here listening to her breathe0 -
Still on hollybags but wanted to give big hugs to all the sickly littlies (how are K and T?), Charlotte after her adventure in the pond, Caz for her sad loss and all the new people because, you know, I've never virtually hugged them before
Skintmonkey, I expressed a lot and don't know about your specific pump but always left it running for five minutes after it seemed like I'd stopped producing milk in case I managed a second letdown. Also, loads of porridge and flapjacks seemed to help. I think PMing elle_gee is a good idea too, she's an expert expresser and a peer supporter BF person who specialises in expressing (her actual title is probably more specific than that if you get what I mean).
Merfe I hope your boob feels better, it sounds like a blocked duct, I had one one time and felt so much relief when it was over. I just massaged in the direction of the nipple while sobbing into a pillow and while it hurt like several mofos it made it better.
There are other people I wanted to reply to but I am afraid I am out of time now because we have to go a sploring.
Oh, and VBF's baby is adorable - I never felt the full on rush of maternal feeling for Miss M, it was gradual over the few days in the hospital and my first feelings were of relief and then hurt/desperation/confusion/somanydrugsmyheadisamessOMGisthatmybaby, but I got a big warm rush as soon as I was allowed to cuddle and sniff lovely little Nameless Conehead. Miss M was wonderful with him too, made happy noises and kept trying to stroke his head and cuddle him. I feel a bit better about the possibility of another already

SS - I never got the immediate rush either, a mixture of tiredness, drugs and disbelief that I'd actually had a baby. I wouldn't be without her though.
She's currently strapped herself into her pushchair watching Something Special.
Hello Everyone.
SkintMonkey - I expressed a bit for my DD, I have no experience of that particular pump, I second all the advice you have already been given
Bit of a disasterous morning, get ready for swimming, go out to the car, neighbour kindly defrosts it as I have nothing to scrape it with as both scrapers are in DH's car and DH is at work. Turn engine on to help for it to cough and cut out after 30 seconds, it's run out of petrolRing dad to help, go in house to find petrol can, can't find it, ring DH, oh he says it's in my boot , ring dad back and cancel rescue. Katie proceeds to have a paddy as she isn't going swimming. My fault for driving round for the best part of a week with the petrol light glowing.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
