oh that doesn't sound too scary :) I was thinking of doing that 2nd thing too ;) :silenced:

oh and isn't your hubby into rugby? some clubs have ways of getting a card sent to someone signed by all the team if he supports one, not sur eif that is of any use to you.

Yes - he used to be! He still likes rugby, but doesn't follow a team as such as he used to play (for his home country for a while *beams proudly*), he's still slightly fighting with the reality that his body is broken and he's getting on a bit now :rotfl: I'd love to take us all way to the next world cup, but that's out of my budget this christmas :o See, it's hard isn't it?

oooooh - you've just given me an idea. I've got £260 worth of clubcard rewards I couldd use and will get more before christmas - now wht should I do with them?

he's very male - likes going to the gym, likes good food (our weakness is posh restaurants), likes wine, gin, beer, is a wee bit lazy and likes to read in bed - think john grisham rather than jane Austin. He used to play rugby, now he's a bit broken :D

This looks awesome, perhaps you could combine it with a night in a hotel?
Note that Tesco deals are going from 4x to 3x on 6th December.

hmm I often get jealous of my friends with husband/partners that cook but I don't like criticism! - maybe I'm the lucky one? :rotfl: Hubby eats pretty much anything, I even make him eat stuff he doesn't like! :p

r.mac I've only just started doing CFR stuff but the butternut risotto I did last night was lovely, quick and easy. Don't tell Weezl but we had a bit of steak with ours :shhh: I'm tempted by orange cake next but it involes making your own marmalade if you do it right, I'm scared of jam type things :o I worry about sterilising the jars, i'm convinced they'll explode in the oven or something.
I use the steamer to sterilise my jars.

My OH likes to tell me how to do gardening. Sometimes I ask him for advice and he does know more than me on lots of things but I do have more experience than him with some things. I just do it my way since I'm the one doing the work but I imagine that's harder to do with cooking than gardening.

SS - you are the present whizz aren't you?
I read present as "current" rather than "gift" at first and was really puzzled about why SS was the whizz and who is normally for a moment.

The weather has been a bit weird, tomorrow its sunny but 10degrees...

It's been freezing here today. The wind is really icy. This afternoon I was just getting ready to take the dogs out, when it started really lashing it down with hail stones. I made them wait 20 mins or so till it had blown over.

I'm supposed to be out at boot camp tonight, but I'm skiving as it's freezing cold, I'm still not fully over this cold and I've got monthly pains :o

Oh and I've joined a random FB group all about squirels. Such cute creatures, you should all join.

I saw a squirrel this afternoon. It ran across the path right in front of me when I was walking the dogs and disappeared into the woods.

Josh loves watching me cook but says his teacher won't be impressed if he writes quantities such as "errr about this much" in his cookery homework :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....
