    afternoon all

am dealing with mong strop DH.... uber tired strop baby.... and am sick to boot...

At 7am I was in the bath trying to sweat it out of my system, vomitted etc etc..... would have LOVED to have gone back to bed but DH was zonked and baby needed seeing to, so guess who got to do that whilst cleaning up dog poop because he's being a sneaky so and so and trying to state his dominance....

have been to asda for food shop. hubbys last rotation shift at Purple before his new job which we're still waiting on his CRB check back from, so im all in a tizz about the money side of things etc and whether or not hes physically going to have a new job to start or what....

L wont sleep for any longer than 20 mins, tried him in his cot, car seat blah blah... DH s selectivey ignoring the screaming.... so is doing my head in, getting a headache and am being aske what im doing for dinner!

GOD SAKE!!! Why cant life just be easy for a day!?
Anyway hugs all round to those in need, i still dont understand what is/isnt going on ith the gossip.... but i think this thread is slowly dying a death due to all the issues which is sad :(

Anyway off to deal with the whinge because apparently DH's version of dealing is to put his xbox on and turn up the volume

I'll let you smell my head if you ask nicely BM *ooh la la*

Although since we're travelling I'll probably be using crappy hotel shampoo :(

CAFC I really don't think you should be doing all this stuff on your own. Please take care of yourself and start by unplugging the X-Box and telling your OH that if he wants you to make dinner he needs to look after his son while you do.

Yes it's her favorite Numberjack. (But we're both a little bit scared of the Puzzler - he's sinister!)
Alice likes the Puzzler. And Spooky Spoon. She doesn't like the Number Taker though. I think it's because the Number Taker is a man but the others are animated so obviously not real.

Toothpaste and deodorant are essential, fizzy items that you drop into the bath are non-essential. Perfumes are non-essential; baby shampoo is essential. Grown-up shampoo would be essential if I didn't have a stockpile of six bottles from when there was a Boots glitch on Aussie products :o

Makeup wouldn't have been essential if all mine hadn't been stolen from my suitcase on the way to Bermuda
So toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and stolen things (and soap?) are essential and everything else is non-essential? Am I the only one who gets given so many non-essentials that there's never any need to buy them? I've only bought soap twice since we got married because of all the stuff I've been given.

I think anything that we do not *need* to use is non-essential. We all need soap/shampoo/toothpaste/deodorant, I do not need face masks, bath bubbles, things that may or may not get rid of the smileylines around my eyes/gigantic bags under them, I would not have needed makeup if we weren't going to a wedding where all the guests were bodybuilders and their trophy partners :o

I'm rarely given the bath type stuff; everyone who's not sure what to get me gives me book tokens. And I love that. But I did some serious damage in Body Shop and Lush sales last year and need to get rid of those before getting new stuff. If I need the new stuff :)

I meant to say something and have forgotten what it was.

Susan, I love bath stuff but get given very little and have to buy it myself :( *sob* But rather than get tesco cheapie shower gel I get myself Soap and Glory (I <3 S&G with all my <3) Or maybe I just use far too much of it? But I figure that since I don't smoke, drink or do drugs, my baths are my indulgence and I totally deserve it.

all this talk of soaps and stuff - grrrr, thought earlier, I know go be sensible me and attack shops on a Monday morning can't be that busy. Doh! And even more annoyingly thought would get preg sil some sanctuary mum2be stuff from boots as bound to be on 3 for 2, but no as it's got the word pregnancy on it is therefore a million times pricier. Enraged, picked up brochure and thinks I know get meself on line and order random stuff for people - is mainly out of sdding stock. Stupid boots - who else was it did this rant earlier this week?! Sorry folks!

Off to attempt to make chocolate cake now but Thomas being very boisterous so don't hold out much hope for too much creativity and will be very ordinary chocolate cake! But cake none the less :)

I think most of the people giving me presents don't give it a lot of thought. OH got half my 30th birthday presents including ones from my own family who should know better than to give me sweets/chocolates.

Would you like a tub of Boots Botanics Cleansing Body Scrub? If so, I'll bring it next week.
