*off to find out the whole story but is very crap if certain PTers got banned*

Soft play was crap, after all that! It was very much a 'dump your kids and have a coffee in the cafe area' so there was very little to do for babies and also was generally a complete madhouse.

    :rotfl: I am very tempted!!

I said to Keira earlier, oh we might be going to Edinburgh next week to meet lots of mummys and babies, and she said "only babies?" and I said "No there is a little girl called Alice who's a big girl like you"

and Ellie is here now (babysitting her tonight and tomorrow  no sleep :( she gets up early) and I overheard Keira saying to ellie "Yeah my mummy is taking my to edinburgh to see Alice in Wonderland"

Who on earth buys a new printer because they can't be bothered to buy ink?

I try not to tell Alice things too far in advance. Nearly every day for at least a month she's asked, "Is it winter yet?" because she thinks it'll be like last winter.

  • 3 Muttleys - your son was born on the same day as my 2nd daughter. How are you getting on? Does he sit happily on his own at all? Yesterday I was all woe is me about my cling bot, but today have accepted (partly thanks to the people on here) that it'll not be forever and soon she will sit happily for a while. For now my slings are my best friend!

    oh wow...how cool is that?!

he is quite chilled out...he happily goes for naps/sleeps while Im not in the room..which is ace. Was worried id have a clingy baby, but he is fab.

I too have a sling, I have three dogs (hence the user name) so he is in it 3-4 times per day for 1/2 hour at a time, he loves it, snuggles into my chest, and off he goes snoring.

We are not having a good time atm with the reflux/colic. Im taking him to Babyclinic on wednesday, Gripe Water seems to work better than Infacol, but he really doesnt like the taste (tho I like the smell of it LOL)
