*wonders if Tia's local kids hospital is the same as mine*
I'm not speaking to our hospital. After a 16 week wait for today's appointment, turns out the referral was made to the wrong department. A referral to plastics will take another 10 weeks, well exceeding the 18 week guarantee - I feel a complaint coming on. I'm really annoyed because treatment sooner, rather than later, will have the best outcome for my boy - if it wasn't the case I would just pass it off as an easy error to make.

Susan - it is definitely something I plan to "suggest" to them first thing on Monday0

Agreed Susan, incompetence should not be allowed to interfere with proper treatment outcomes.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Was it my sister's keeper? That had me sobbing into my pillow the other night!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My problems are because we were transfered to Yorkhill. So they have to call Yorkhill who then tells them what to do and they then tell me. But she is also under a guy down in Leeds so it can be local call yorkhill who call leeds and then yorkhill call local who call me.
In your case, I would demand a cancelation slot sice the mistake wasn't yours. Just strop and push, Ive seen others do it (I've also done it myself). Get your GP to call up, ours was very good and got us bumped up a few times.0 -
Tia, I just tried talking to Ben about the nightmares, he got quite upset again (another one last night), he said he doesn't think he can change things and that he tried to change his dream before by putting himself somewhere else. I've just said that trying that was different, that I'm not telling him to change it, but dream up more amazing stuff to put in the dream, like a super duper shark blaster that blows the shark up! Am I on the right lines or not? We did talk about checking his watch. XToo many children, too little time!!!0

oh my vertbaudet order is here
Whenever, I will also throw in my OH... free of chargeLOL
Did you get the freebie shape sorter with your vertbaudet order? I am curious what its like0 -
Tara, pretty much. But it doesn't happen over night and it is difficult to do (you can keep dozing off, forgetting that you can change it), but if he can remember trying then it's a good sign.
He has to fall asleep believing that HE can do it, that way even if he doesn't acheive some degree of Lucidity, the belief that he can change things will become part of the dream itself.
You can also speak to your GP about it Tara, ask for a referal. I saw a child psycologist when I was younger about my dreams, which is how I learned lucid dreaming (becoming aware that you are asleep and dreaming while dreaming).0
