Hi everyone, hope you're all ok? Have posted this on Emsy's thread, but am that annoyed I'm posting it here too, if that's ok? I know some people don't check in with both and I need distracting right now!!
Oh ladies, what a day I'm having! My sister in law has been checking up on my brother, she reactivated his FB account last night and he's less than happy that she doesn't trust him - not that I blame him, I'd be wondering how many other times she'd checked up on me but not been found out! Then I got a letter demanding £90 asap from over paid housing benefit - dating back two years!!! I haven't got any statements or proof or records or anything going back that long, but I know damn well that as soon as hubs moved in (I can't even remember the date, it's been that long!), we notified everyone (I was a single mum on benefits up til getting with hubs) and he took over housing and council tax payments the week he moved in - I just can't prove it :mad: Have rang the housing benefit people, spoke to a lovely lady who said they're having to chase up any unpaid bills to make up the money that they've lost in budget cuts etc, and dozens of people have rang to complain. Well I'm not complaining as such, if it turns out that somehow we do owe the money, it will be paid as soon as we can, but I understand the people who are refusing point blank to pay it!! So she's put a hold on the bill, I rang our landlords (anyone who knows me knows how much I hate phoning people) and they can't tell us who's paid what or when but apparently we're £50 in credit, neither of us can understand how when £50 isn't what I was paying to top up the HB OR what we pay now! So my thinking is that LL were paid twice in one week, by us and by HB and just decided to keep quiet and hope no-one noticed - sneaky but it worked, no-one has noticed til now! They're sending us a list of every payment that's been made since I've lived here (4 years) so hopefully we can get to the bottom of it when that arrives!
Phew, and breathe!! I'm so stressed today, there's other stuff going on too, and not sleeping properly isn't helping...
Hope you're all having better days and sorry for the self indulgent rant xxx
Hope that helps cheer you upMadDogWoman wrote: »
Had a call from the recruitment agency today, I'm booked for an interview on Monday afternoon. Fingers crossed I like the sound of the position and they like me.
Best of luck xxWell hospital just called.
Coagulation results are good. Liver enzymes.... lab lost the results. But it should be okay since the coag would be same or worse if enzymes were up. Stay on Vit K till Tuesday, back up at 1.30pm on Tuesday. Stay on ranitadine till Jan appointment. Deffinately had a virus that caused the liver to go funky. Paracetamol dose I was giving her is a safe dosage (although it is too much for her bodyweight) and it has just been very bad luck. So I feel a bit better.
Pleased all seems to be better now, and you're feeling better too xxjillie1974 wrote: »picked kian up and he had a high temp 99f just checked with oral thermometer and is 39.3c. he had 7.5ml of calpol and a cold compressanything else i can do. he;s never had high temp before
As long as it's warm in your house, just strip him off and see if he cools down. If you have any baby brufen, you can alternate that with the doses of paracetamol which helps too.
Been to the toy shop this afternoon and bought Charlotte's Christmas present. She's getting this:
