Well he is deffo in Manchester, his Aunty called my mum to find out what happened and she is disgusted. She said he stole her stuff and fled when he was younger..

She also thinks that his sister was in on it and probably encouraged him.

Police are going to arrest him, but we think he has sold everything already.

My little sister was crying last night and youngest brother has become really clingy to my mum and keeps asking her not to leave :(

My younger (but not little, she's 18) has come back from Pontins to move back with mum, she's really angry.

Poor kids EA, and your Mum. Well done her though for going to the police. X How is she going to manage, or has she not had time to think about it?
Too many children, too little time!!!

She doesn't know, she currently works 4-8pm Monday to Friday and he looked after them.
She's going into work in a couple of days to sort things out.

She raised me and my sister alone for 9 years, so i think she will cope ok.

Last time he left her (5ish years ago) she coped very well, she seemed happier and more confident.
  • Thanks for all the replies, my problem is that MY dates would work out that those dates today would be correct. The hospital changed my date at my 12 weeks scan.

Blimey you lot don't half chat!!! :p I've just ploughed through 7 pages and can't remember anything to reply to now!!

Oooh, actually, all your gorgeous baby pics have made me all broody!! Keep looking over at Moo and wondering if she was ever that small!!!

Oh and I joined the MSE Parents group earlier, thanks Sami :D Haven't had chance to check in there yet though, should I pop over and introduce myself? Are you all there?

Me and Moo are just catching up on some sky+ Hope you're all fine and well and wrapped up warm against this awful cold/wind/rain!! xxx
All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

  • Parenting thread and pregnancy thread combined makes for lots of chatting clearly. Eeep! I managed a nap when Izzy did this afternoon, we've been to fetch DH from work and we've all had tea together. I am aiming for bed when Izzy goes tonight after last nights escapades. Yawn....

I expect you will all be up for hours, and I'll not be able to catch up in the morning ;)

Glad to see you back in EA. I'm sure she will cope fine when she gets things sorted with work - with any luck they will let her change her hours. I did ask you this last night, so tell me to bog off, but is it that he has taken things of value to sell, rather than personal stuff/practical things like clothes or whatever? I'm hoping the former, because at least you can manage without them, even if it is annoying!

I really hope it works out for her, sounds like she has fantastic support from you and your Sister who moved back in. These horrible things seem to make some families stronger! :A Hopefully she has an understanding boss.

Well in that case, just be ready, bubs will come when it comes, no dating scan will change it. I've had early and late. Exciting though. XXX

Im only on because Lily is sleeping so i can get on the laptop without her trying to sit on it :rotfl:

I was on my phone last night so couldn't quote properly.

He took the computer, kids Wii, about £60 from my mums money box (that he smashed open with a hammer), a suitcase and some clothes.
There was other stuff but i cant remember the list i told her to make.

  • Making a list is definitely sensible. For police and insurance purposes :)
