6 years is quite a gap, was it planned that way? (tell me to bog off if you like, I'm just nosey). Have you told DD yet? What does she think about it all?
I'm nosey too, uncurably so!
Ask away! Moo will be 4 months short of 8 when creature (the only nickname we can all agree on
) puts in an appearance, and yep it's an age gap, a much bigger one than I ever wanted, but that's just how things go I guess - could be a larger gap! We told her at 11 weeks cos I just couldn't bear keeping a secret from her anymore - it was just me and her for the first few years so we're really close - but me and hubs found out when I was about 5 weeks, so it was a long time not telling her! She's thrilled and will be a brilliant big sister - even if she has already informed us that she will not be changing nappies!!! Reckon I could get away with skipping that bit too?! :rotfl: All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

Hi Cutterby and welcome.
I remember 7 being a particularly dreadful age with my DD1. She's 10 and mostly quite nice now, although she still has her moments.
WM L was also angelic in the weeks before her birthday! She's back to normal now. :cool:however he has only just the other day deduced the existence of ten-teen, which comes - obviously - after nineteen.
I love ten-teen - it makes much more sense! :rotfl::beer:0 -
counting - are there guidelines anywhere? I was wondering this the other day. LO is 21 months can repeat 1-10, but can only really count to 3 at the moment. I was wondering where this was in the grand scheme of things. In fact I'm looking for a good developmental chart in general if anyne knows where I should look.....
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
