Becky, just made sure you're not slathering it on too thick otherwise her skin can't breath... It should all rub in, not look white

Hello to all the new mammy's who have joined us. Lovely to have you with us.beckyandjack wrote: »dd has awful nappy rash, have been putting sudocrem on her, does it matter if any goes up her bits? not sure how it would but suddenly made myself all paranoid

My Mam used to smother Charlotte in it and her bits looked like a cream bun, but it never did her any harm.
Forgot to say with counting, make sure you introduce the concept of zero. It will help them so much with maths work when they are a bit older if they know you start counting from zero rather than 1.
Charlotte is 3½ and has just this week started counting backwards and saying things like "3 comes before 4" and "8 comes after 7". I think they must be learning that at school as I haven't taught her that. I was going to start talking about more than and less than with her next as that's what comes next.
James was upset earlier as he's really crap at art. Had a long chat saying if he doesn't want to do a job involving art, then it's no big deal. I was really really rubbish at art, but it's never done me any harm! He's going to try and look at art as a necessary chore until he can drop it when he picks his options
Here I go again on my own....0 -
