RE the meet
Is it a similar set up to the one at Trafford? Will I be able to bring T's lunch and give it to him there? I;m visiting a friend in Birchwood in the morning so it would probably be rude not to call in at the meet.....
Yey! :j
I imagine its the same kind of set up as the other play centres - but I don't know, i've not been.
I was looking on Google maps and I spotted a nearby big Tesco. I may come early to visit Tescos. My sister has said she wants, for Christmas, the cardi that Fay Ripley is wearing on the advert where they're dropping the children at dancing/football . I can't find it on line so will try the shop instead.:beer:0 -

The best bit about the site I've linked to is that you can choose your caravan whereas with Haven you can select the grade but not the position.
I spotted that - I've been looking at the map trying to work out where would be a good placeDon't want to be too near to the club house! But even though I assume there are fences on the clif, I wouldn't want to be too close to them either with an escapologist toddler .

Lady,
I would recommend being to the right of the club (looking at the screen) the other side of the park is a bit noisy thanks to an army firing range which can be a plus as occasionally one has to run down to the beach and dive into the water fully dressed then run back to the range.
The noise does stop at lunchtime then finishes about 4pm and Sunday is silent.
There is a lovely Chinese takeaway on the road into the park and the pub just before the entrance is good too, very generous portions, very child friendly too. Tescos is 5 mins from the park as well.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Where is the Travelodge?
Are you looking for a good girly night?, quiet chatting night?, crazy dancing night?
The place where most out of town visitors go to is Matthew Street. Lots of bars around that area within staggering distance of each other. The Hard Days Night Hotel Bar is very nice and a good place to start as it's quiet enough to chat!
The other end of town is Concert Square with another lot of bars within staggering distance. Matthew Street to Concert Square is probably a 20 minute walk.
Then if you're being classy, The Albert Dock has a collection of posher (more expensive!) bars and restaurants.:beer:0 -
Sparkle, if you're about, we have a RL friend in common on facebook! Initials SA. It's her sister I'm visiting tomorrow morning lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Just tell the taxi driver Concert Square or Matthew Street and they'll get you there and at either area you'll have plenty of bars to choose from. Have fun.:beer:0 -

I'm really looking forward to meeting Katie and Rhys, and seeing the other toddlers who were only babies last time I saw them.
Sami, is it 1pm but you'll be early? :rotfl:
I don't need to rush off for school time, my sister is coming up for the school run. She owes me a favour after I drove her miles for a job interview yesterday.
We've been to fireworks tonight at the football ground. V was laughing and pointing at the start, but looked bored and had a sleep after five minutes. :rotfl:all going well I'm going straight from picking Chris up at 12 so will prob be there a bit early
Gill - I think you'll be fine to take T's lunch.
