I can easily sit with the beetroot jar and a fork, yummy.

I'm hoping for the 'no news is good news' with Amber.

HFW is the least MSE/CFR chef that isn't Heston Blumenthal - I'm still angry about his £22 "student recipe" fish curry where you had to go get organic galangal. Muppet.

  • Update on the picture thief:

    It was my mother. LOL.

    Panic over.

That's good to know - I'm pleased it was innocent.

I agree entirely - I wasn't suggesting that it as followed exactly, but I thought the recipe could be 'frugalised'. Sorry for not being clearer on the point... I always like the look of his dishes, but I have to make quite a few changes so that it doesn't cost the earth, but I normally use them as a starting point.

I agree Arnie - he's interesting to read and watch and I like that he's into using everything, but money wise he is clearly in another dimension.

I like to take every opportunity to rant about him.

right off to deliver some more washing to mummy :p we didn't end up getting the washer/dryer when we saw it in the flesh the drum was tiny, so waiting for the new seal to arrive and hubby will fix the washer and we'll get a separate dryer as we'd been planning before the washer broke

Estate Agent just rang, people that viewed yesterday liked what they saw and want to come back next week, they were here on holiday. There is nowhere for us to move to anyway to so can't see we could accept an offer. Yesterday morning he called at 9.45am to ask about a lunchtime viewing, we were all still in our pj's. I hadn't done any housework all half term.:o I got all the kids together and explained people were coming and omg my kids were amazing. DS1 grabbed the hoover and went upstairs, Erin went into the lounge, I went to make beds but when I came down Ben bless him was stood in the kitchen with the tea towel emptying and loading the dishwasher. Then he went on to wash down all the cupboards. Now all this was done without me even asking, I didn't have to tell then to do anything, everything was off there own back. At 12 we sat and had lunch then left and the house was spotless. I felt like the luckiest Mum ever! :A
