HC is My Gorgeous Ellie Belle (MGEB) who was on the TTC thread and then the Pregnancy Thread. She has a baby boy about a month younger than T. (I'm sure I may have posted this 3 or 4 times before.....;))

Thinking of Tia and Amber...really hope we get some good news soon

Sorry girls, more drama and me moaning. Amber started vomiting blood at 5am. That's us just got up to the ward. My baby was very very ill and I never want to see her like that again. Ever.

So sorry to hear that. Hope she feels better soon xx

Did everyone else have Braxton Hicks in their first pregnancy?

I think I did. I was getting the pains but the midwives said I had ages to go and first babies are usually late, so they couldn't be Braxton Hicks. Then Josh arrived three weeks early, so maybe they were after all!

I was busy when I was pregnant with him as we'd moved house, and the new house was dirty with horrible decor. I did loads of cleaning and decorating before he arrived, including painting the kitchen ceiling the day before he was born!

    Lovely pics TNV and Red.

Hope things go ok with HR this afternoon SS.
Here I go again on my own....

Xray is fine but her liver enzymes are sky high testing for paracetamol overdose, hepatitis and tox screens? Very scared.
((hugs)) hun, hope she feels better soon!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Thats great news SS - good luck for this afternoon, I hope it all goes well.
I take it that no one's heard anymore news about Amber? I hope no news is good news and that she's recovering well.
I didn't get any braxton hicks with Amelie (if I did I didn't notice them!), but I got them quite badly with Freddie, in fact I was half convinced that he was going to make an early entrance as a result!

Okay quick update. They now say it wasn't my fault. They think she has taken a bad reaction to paracetamol but I didn't overdose her ( still feel guilty though). Or it could be something else.

Liver specialist from yorkhill has been to see her. If 3pm bloods come back saying she is getting a lot better then we stay here if she isn't improving or Bly slightly then we go to yorkhill. If she is bad or getting worse we go to a specialist hospital.

They still don't know what's wrong but hopefully find out soon.

_pale_ I'm eating some chocolate sponge pudding (which Alice doesn't like)
and Alice asked me what it was so I said it was sponge pudding which she doesn't like. She then went out of the room after having shouted, "That's poo!"

I was really glad Alice was early as everyone kept telling me, "You'll be late because first babies are always late." OH and I were both first babies and both early too so I was convinced she would be.

  • Tia - I'm pleased that they're not saying it's your fault at least. Try not to feel guilty, it's a natural reaction. Fingers (and everything else) crossed that things start looking up very soon - sending loads of get well vibes to Amber, and hugs to you.

That is exactly what Henry was like, and he carried on with two hourly feeds until I introduced solids. He's still a grazer and probably either eats or has a cup of milk about every two hours now, but as he slept well it didn't bother me.

I'm thinking that the 2 hour thing will carry on until solids time too! What age did you introduce solids?

Contraception.... help!!!:o:o:o I can under no circumstances get pregnant for health reasons (sadly:() so I need something very reliable?? Would like something that stops AF;) I'm worried about the affect some things have on mood as I've suffered from bad depression. Any ideas very welcome!
