    Aquarium has to be set up a few days before you put fish in so would be tricky to surprise them Mel. X

    Oh yeah, I didn't think of that! I suppose I could give it them empty and let them set it up, by the time we can put fish in it the garden centre would be open and they could pick their own fish?? Hmmm might work, need to make sure it is a suitable present for them first:)

    flipping typical. DH plays pool on a Wed night, so i have the TV and lappy to myself while he;s out and Kian asleep...guess who rang to say they're on their way home!! MEN!!!!!


    anyhoo will be on tomorrow and then will try and get on before we head to Liverpool and then before Lanzarote!! :)

    Mel, could I suggest getting a cheap but larger glass aquarium and a few sponge bob ornaments and stickers? The little filters in the spongebob (the plastic type) tanks are utter crud. And they are hard to keep clean.

    As Tara said, they should be left to run atleast 3 days before putting fish in.

    Oh are they? Thank you, I will definitely have a little think about it all then....they have a spongebob themed room so wanted it to tie-in!
