I would like that a lotWeezl, if you need a quote for the testing I can ask one of our sales guys? No obligation at all but will give you an idea of costs if nothing more? PM me if you'd like me to, should only be a quick phone call to a friend.
thank you!

Evening all.
Have read back, but nowt much to contribute. They definately did not do cross country at my high school - no one would've come back if they'd have let us out! I was good at sprinting and high jump, though you definately wouldn't believe it now
Tara, it sounds like a good idea actually letting kids be competitive and sporty. There's far too much namby pamby bulldust about winning hurting people's feelings and all that garbage.
Becles, that's awful about your trainer's daughter - talk about setting kids up for problems! I did read somewhere that you can opt out of it though when you register your child in school, as they do it to all 5 year olds *I think*.

Weezl, have you thought of contacting one of the Uni's who do Food Science? There may be a tutor willing to help out?0

Right Parents, I need some help please....
T is awake soooooo much through out the day that I am after some extra things to sit her in....atm she rotates between her bouncy chair, a door hanging bouncer and lying on the floor, with or without the playgym above her head.....she tends to get bored of each place very quickly!! I have NEVER had this problem before as the boys all tended to sleep loads during the day, she does a quick nap after a feed and then a quick 10mins before her next one, she must feel as though she is going to miss out on something;)
Anyway, can I have some opinions on this, this, this and this
Any advice on the above, or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

She sounds like my T! he was getting bored so quickly, I would rotate him between swing, bouncer, floor, highchair with some toys on the tray and then hop n pop. Even then he'd want me talking to him and interacting with him most of the time....so not a lot of housework done in this house lol. I generally ended up (still do!) getting out and about with him.
Personally I would go for the jumperoo. DH wouldn't let me get one so we went for a hop n pop but he gets bored after 10 mins, it was less than that when he was your T's age as well. He's been in a jumperoo at my friend's house and loved it. Be prepared for it go up to £50ish tho. T has also almost outgrown his hop n pop where I believe the jumperoo is height adjustable. (only an issue if she's tall) The bright starts looks comparable to the hop n pop to me - I think she'll love it at first but then get bored quickly.
The nest looks like it could be good if you can get it for a good price. The baby mat looks ok but will she need something like that for much long? T has progressed to an ikea throw now with all his toys scattered about it.
Sorry if it's a bit rambling, i wrote it as I thought it and I'm very tired!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
re: Bizziebaby. I've had good value from them - pure luck I think. I am not allowed to sell anything on, but have passed the playmat to my nephew and the buggy onto a lovely little girl I know who is hoping to be a builder when she grows up

However, I got 'chased' (and not very politely) for my responses to the questionaires several times, when I had infact filled them in and replied immediately upon recieving the intial request and comments form. I had to explain this twice and re-send my comments, with initial emails for both the items I tested! I think that the office is bit overwhelmed at times. For that reason, we decided not to sign up again this year.
The same happened to me Rmac. They claimed to have never received my review. Except that I never got very good things to test, so I definitely didn't renew.redmel1621 wrote: »Right Parents, I need some help please....

I can't get the links to work, Mel, although it might just be my laptop. We found this really good, and H also liked sitting in his high chair from about 4 months as he was up higher so could see different things.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Mel, for playmats, we seemed to prefer a squishy quilt and toys.
Never had a jumparoo, I only drooled over them.0 -
Off to do some sanding, my carpet is being laid sunday! I'm dead excited!0

Thanks, I never bothered with a playmat for ds3, which is why we don't have one;) I agree she won't need it for long, and we have a nice thick carpet now anyway!!
Oh yes, I stick her in K's highchair, but she isn't keen on it for too long...I think it's because she can't really move about in it......she like to be able to waggle her arms and legs and throw her body about a bit!!
I might keep a look out for a jumperoo then, as she is tall...Just wonder how long she will use one for?Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
