Quite simply no...
After my letter to them and subsequent response, i doubt they'll be banging down my door to help....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hope GISI is still here? I bought the ingredients, but how do I make the starter? Help!
Okay, roll out the pastry (if it's not ready rolled). Cut out the right number of squares for one each. I would make them about 3" square. Then you want to score a border round each one and !!!!! the middle bit a few time with a fork so the edge puffs up but the middle doesn't.
Slice the onion, fry it in olive oil until soft then add a dollop of balsamic and a pinch of sugar and cook for a bit longer.
Bung the onions on the pastry squares, add a slice of goats cheese on each and bake for about 20 minutes (but check after 15 in case I'm wrong).
Does that help? You could make them up in advance, put in the fridge then just bake when you want them.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

You made me laugh yoghurt over my screen. Probably a good thing there isn't a smiley for that
CFAC you can request to see a different doctor you know. Either ask for someone specific or just say that you don't would prefer to see someone different. You shouldn't have to tell the receptionist why. I used to always ask to see a lady doctor, even if that was irrelevant, because it meant that I didn't have to see my doctor. He has retired now though, and I have a very good new doctor, so I don't mind seeing him.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

CAFC it can be hard to make first steps, but your GP's a good one, and you can request a different health visitor IIRC.
You are a lovely mummy doing an awesome job and if there are people not doing their jobs who should be supporting you then you have the right to request that a more competent person be assigned to you.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Anyone else not get theirs?
I didn't so I emailed them and they asked me send my address again. It came a couple of days later it's a sports cup for a 1 year old so doubt we'll use it! My friend got the same one and I saw other people thanking them for it.
*Hugs* for CAFC. You should definitely talk to someone. It's horrible getting the guts up to do it but once you get in there you have to say something and it's suprising what you can get out. You know where we all are if you need us.
I had to do a test today too Sounds crazy but was convinved I could feel movements like what you'd get at 20 weeks plus! I was crapping myself lol. Was negative (as expected when I was thinking rationally!) Huge relief but also slightly disappointedWe've just put T's newborn stuff, moses basket and swing (coz he was pulling himself forward and nearly tipping out ) in the loft which has made me broody for a littly. One of my best friend's is due any day so I shall have to satisfy myself that way!

I know a lot of SAHM's who do loads in the school, and other volutary stuff. Don't know how they do it.
Buttons, Housing Benefit is being reduced/changed, and any new tenancy will be subject to 80% of what you would pay for the same property in the private sector, so in that situation you would be better of renting in the private sector and having your choice of area if you can manage th extra 20%. But you could end up in a council house with say 30 houses in the street and the other 29 pay £300 a month and you pay £600, ridiculous. From my experience of living on estates this will cause a lot of bad feeling between tenants which is a recipe for disaster.
How far down the country do you want to go?
Engand somewhere, eventually! I just know I don't want to be living here in a few years time.
So as I'm currently a council tennant. would that apply to me, if you do house exchanges? It's proper confusing, I thought it was for new people going on the housing list. Oh well, if its not coming in until about 2012, we only have a year or so to put up with it before we can kick them out (which will happen) I notice the rich remained unscathed, how unsurprising!0
