Wills - that is awful you must be fuming! Have you complained?

I rang up and said i know about the builders so please can i have it after them (didn't want to get his back up IYKWIM) as they should be gone by December, he said "i don't see why not"
I said "well can you be anymore sure this time?" He said he'd speak to the housing officer and get back to me... I need to chase him up.

Surely if you're in a council property and move to another council property under the same council you're tenancy wouldn't start again, or would it?
New places is HA so new tenancy would start altogether and council tenancy would be bye bye
So if I do a house swap/exchange anytime in the future, I'd have to pay 80% rental costs? Sod that right off! Why would I pay private rents near enough for a scabby council flat? OMG.......I thought it meant if you were someone new going on the list? I want to house swap my way down the country.
In the case of a swap you still keep all your existing terms so this would be the same for rent.

What did i miss re. Tara's DD on telly??

Can't remember what else i wanted to say other than i wish i'd seen aless' post earlier re. swagcode cos i missed it by seconds after trying all the other words first DOH.

Just a quick message to those with no life: F.UCK OFF SPYING ON ME SADDO

CAFC i think you do too, you seem down and i know you're not a downbeat kinda person. It's not that noticeable or anything but you've obviously vented here too. And i don't even know you, just cheeky assumptions i made :p

  • I veer between being more scared of the pregnancy next time, or more scared of the labour, or more scared of having another c-section, or more scared of having a newborn again....maybe I'll just stick at one :rotfl:. And he is a perfect one.

Hugs CAFC :grouphug:. I know others on here have experience of it so will be able to offer some good advice.

Would it help if you tried writing it down just for yourself first? (Or is that a dumb question?)

CAFC, I agree with others that you should go see your GP. Trying to just get on with things is so much harder than asking for help.
  • Everyone - I just want to post a reminder that white eyes in photos of your children can be a sign of problems such as retinoblastoma, a rare but serious eye cancer. A very good friend had a scare recently, which thankfully has been checked out and is nothing, but we should all be vigilant in making sure that we spread the word. 2 out of 3 mums of littlies that I have spoken to today did not know to watch out for it.

Anyone with any concerns should get their child checked out by a doctor asap.

There is more info here if anyone wants to read.
