I have a briefing today on the future of my section. I think we are being amalgamated with 2 other sections and I am the most senior member of staff so I expect to be getting more stress lumped on me.

    Black diamond pattern loafers
    Navy socks
    Black Sweater
    Black on black striped shirt
    Charcoal silk tie.

Something about my apparel says I am not in the best of moods today.

morning all. It's housework day today so I'm in a purple mohair cardi (ebay £2-3 ish), white t shirt (matalan £3) and old NL bootleg jeans (£10). No jewellery or make up etc yet. I'll just slap something on when I go out.

As we are on the subject of large bras...why are they so much more expensive than small ones? I'm an F cup and it's so expensive.

I was very MSE yesterday, you would all be proud. I had £20 NL voucher and I wanted a grey and a chocolate brown cardigan. I managed to find them for £12 each in the sale so only had to put a bit towards it and I DID NOT look at shoes or jewellery. What an acheivement!

LIR - Rouge Noir is my fave.

thank you for your replies! i have clicked 'watch' on a few on ebay, I'm 5ft 2 and a bit curvy, so it's sometimes hard to find one that doesn't make me look silly! and I dont have a huge budget as I have just finished uni this year and have only just started employment, so trying to keep to a strict budget a lil bit too :)

I hope it goes OK. Its a better time to be getting more stress than less....more stress means your role is hefty and value to your employer and less likely to be redundant!

Hope things go ok today Douglas.

ALJA, you could always have a trying on session somewhere to determine what style suits you best and then use that to help you find the right thing on eBay. Lots of the supermarkets have decent selections in stock if you can't get to the high street. Actually, the supermarkets sometimes have really good offers on - I seem to remember Asda doing a plain black fitted coat for about £15 last year.

Looks like I will be working 37 hours but still paid for 35. I may need the extra time to deal with the extra work.

    Afternoon!

Hope everyone's well. Just had to pop into town for a few packing supplies and inevitably HAD to go via the charity shops, picking up a stunning 1970's charcoal wool maxi coat, a beautiful unworn black Ghost wool Victorian style blouse and two pendants (Total spend: £17).

About to start eBay wrapping after I've done a blog catch-up.

    Today's outfit:
High waisted acid wash skinny jeans (sample sale last year £2)
1960's hot pink puddybow blouse (20p jumble sale)
Black thigh boots (Car boot sale £3)
Silver bangles, hoop earrings and rings (India)
    Vintage faux fur jacket (Inherited)

    Have a fun afternoon.
