I had a fantastic night and was WELL under budget! This was only due to getting a lift home from my hubby's cousin who was picking up his girlfriend so very grateful to him. I was a bit miffed I spent what I did, my SIL and I were careful with drinks as we are both a little skint (well her a little me a lot) and as we were out with family didn't want to be too sozzled. The "proper grown ups" (mother in law, nan in law and many aunties in law) were all on the sparkly wine at nearly £17 per bottle. The drinks tab was then split equally!! Therefore I spent more than I drank, however, didn't want to complain as MIL paid for my food (she's very good like that), so, £20 spent out of my £40 - that's £20 for the debt pot .

Glad you had a good night Kat. I would of been miffed at spending more than I drank, but at least you still have £20 for the debt pot

I had a look in my tin yesterday, think I will need a fork lift truck to take all my pennies to the BS. My job Wed lunch is to go. Can't tomorrow as have to get dad Christmas prezzie (fudge from Thorntons) as we are having xmas day with my mum and dad tomorrow as they are off on a cruise.

I think they are buying a takeaway as we are all in work during the day (bit of a cheat but still nice to go over).

No they are going by coach down to Austria for a night, then over to Italy where they join the ship. It then goes to Greece, North Africa, Southern Italy etc where they get off. They then have a couple of nights in Lake Gardia (sp?) and by coach back up via cities for sight seeing.

Just updated figs. Paid off £443.24 this month which is way more than 35% of spare money (which would have been £183) - it's more like 70%! The percentage paid off the debt this month is 5.3% PLUS gone down a £1k bracket - I couldn't be happier that's all been done in December (same post as on percentage thread but I'm so pleased!)
