It is, makes me wish I'd thought of it myself, be a millionaire by now! Also makes me wonder why they will pre approve me for a £2k loan and a barclaycard (obv ignoring said pre-approvals) but WON'T up the "normal" overdraft to cover the reserve.....Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. hi Kat, thought i'd track you down to your diary.
I'm still reading it though but one thing that strikes me is that your OH keeps spending £1 on coke each day. In Lidl they sell cans of Pepsi for about 25p which will be a much better option. But i guess that suposes that you have a Lidl near you and you also like Pepsi. may be worth a try.0 -
We do have a Lidl and was thinking of trying to do the monthly shop in there this month (although that does mean no tesco points..). I will defo go in for that though as I am a bit of a pepsi max aholic xxLoan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. I have paid my mum back for dad's xmas prezzie now (using my tip money) :j. That was the most expensive one left to buy!
Just got BIL - £20 Next Voucher
OH little Cousin - £10 New Look Voucher
OH - £25 on Asda Clothes (agreed value and shop he requested!)
Work Secret Santa - £5
ME - £25 (joint account so have to put it)
Total - £85 (plus wrapping paper etc so prob £95 - £100) not bad with a month to go
Got several confessions for which I need to be verbally punished (or if anyone can think of a :money:punishment, even better)
- Quitting smoking - not worked. Spending MILES less, but still not gone
- I have been buying lunch in work - approx £2 per day. I was ill yesterday (I have a severe lack of voice situation) so from Thu (payday) to today that's £6
- I spent 55p on a Wispa (and that's just a chocolate receipt I can find!)
- OH and I went out for lunch - £8.94
- I am hosting an ann summers party tonight. I will be buying but I am going to buy things I will use/need such as PJs, pants and socks. No silly bras/dressing up outfits/suspenders/basques I will never wear.
It's like I'm out of control! You can always rely on someone to make you feel rubbish! I got my weekly email from Martin and saw the free scarf in the paper deal. Thinking this was great I told someone I work with and said good idea if you have a man to buy a christmas prezzie for. WELL! that was a mistake. Not only have I been made to feel a cheap skate but also feel like a lesser human "why on EARTH would anyone give someone a free scarf for Christmas" - feel like S**tLoan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Kat ignore them and don't let other people make you feel like crap. It's their own issue and if they have money to throw around them more fool them! We don't and were working hard to change our situations so screw them.
