Quite sad today - had to put yet more petrol in the car putting me over my budget (it's due to the lambda sensor and another sensor but I ordered the wrong part so on the weekend I am exchanging for the correct one). However, I did log into Tesco Clubcard online and I had £12.50 in vouchers I had lost - they are being sent in the December batch
.
I also have some money to add to the debt pot but I have been working so much I haven't had time to pay it in. It's not a lot as I am buying Christmas prezzies but I am pretty sure it will take me over the £60 mark!Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week :eek:, NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Just bought my DS a new car seat as he was getting a little big for his (goes up to 4 my backside!!). The new seat cost £44.99 but 2 good things - 1) my sister is having my DS old car seat for my neice (there is nothing wrong with it and although people say you shouldn't have 2nd hand car seats that's as you wouldn't know if they had been in a crash or not - we know it hasn't!!) so gave me £25 towards it and 2) I used quidco for the first time and I have received a tracking confirmation saying they expect me to get £2.24 cashback
therefore the carseat cost me £17.75 (and it's a highback booster WITH 5 point saftey harness as DS only 2 1/2).:cool:

Exactly, I just didn't know anyone with one going - not sure I'd want to buy one from Ebay etc (and prob would have ended up spending the same anyway
)

Sig looks a bit negative atm due to the debt pot reducing but it's not so bad:
Used the £50 to pay the MOT so we don't go further into the reserve. Luckily the car flew it's MOT (not even an advisory) so I'm very happy.
The parts I bought for my car to stop it munching the petrol (which is WAY over budget) were wrong. On a positive note, the correct ones should cost less so may be on my way to getting a refund.
On a negative note - the car seat I ordered was cancelled due to stock issues. I went to Mothercare and the cheaper seats don't fit in my car properly so looks like we have to spend £100 :eek:. DS safety comes way before debt busting though and after Christmas we will be well back on track.Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week :eek:, NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Changed sig - taken off mortgage as no chance of paying that off yet and put percentage paid off so far. Hi Kat, found your diary!
Just read the entire thing and I think you are being really positive, your challenge is going well too, nothing to be nervous about!
So is your debt pot figure in your sig what you currently have?
Did you decide how much daily/weekly spend money you and OH would have?
Have subscribed.
