sorry for appearing a little rude here but no you cant ask as it really has nothing at all to do with anything relivant to my original question. also i really dont think it is anyone elses business but mine. :) after all i wouldnt print out my medical history on a forum would i as it is private.

You have come here asking for help, but you are only willing to give us half a story. Your refusal to use public transport seems very unreasonable if there is no good reason behind it.

if it was a just a refusal to use public trasport that would have been unreasonable but obviously there is a good reason for it but i am not wishing to elaborate on that- is that not ok? i have already had the help i was needing. i can begin to make plans for my future now thanks.

That is your choice - we could have tried to help, but clearly you don't want that.

The atos tests look at what you can do not what you can't, this is what many people fail to realise. They don't go on what's wrong with you, more on what you can do.
The Doctor I had was brilliant for my medical couldn't fault him.

You seem to be able to use a computer, have you considered working from home at all?

Perhaps typing CVs, proof reading books etc?

that would be lovely thank you but i havent always got someone here at home who will type for me. :T also im not too great at the old grammar and puntuation thingy for the proof reading job.

also where are all these typing cv / proof reading jobs anyway? - i havent seen many in the lovely job center lately have you?

maybe you could point everyone one claiming benefits in the right direction and maybe you could get every single scrounger in the uk off benefits forever :A

Have you considered going self employed? Providing you can work over 30 hours a week you can also claim working tax credit :T

Carers allowance is given to you to live on because you can only work part time when caring for someone. If you choose to spend it on taxis to go to your son's home that is your own affair but there isn't anything else you can claim to compensate for the expense.

I am surprised that you are spending £30 per week on gas electricity per week. That's very high, particularly as the house is empty all day.
