Now just need the not so lovely and fluffy Royal Mail to avoid striking until they send my tokens...

As a postman, i find that comment and that in your previous post, uncalled for. There are no strikes being called.
Not only that, you give the impression that its down to Royal Mail that you are still waiting, it is not.
Tesco send out the clubcard mailings in batches, and that is why you get a date they should be received by. The mailings start a couple of weeks after the points cut off date, therefore they have started this week. When your delivery office gets them, you will get your mailing that day.

Not QUITE like that in my neck of the woods Keith!!! When my local office gets them, they may well send them out with the postie - but whether thats the day I get them or any one of several neighbours, people in the next village or they just vanish into a black whole is in the lap of the gods.

OK sorry, just an attempt at levity. I don't honestly know what the reason is for delay, and I suspect you're right, it's not really to do with the Royal Mail, who very probably are lovely and fluffy.

My basic point is whatever the cause, it no longer has to be an issue.

I also wish to place on record my thanks to Royal Mail and our village postman as well as, er, Tesco. :j

    .

you finish your round very early mate, my clubcard letter dropped through the door at 1pm and the poor cold wet postie still hadn't finished... so personally i wouldn't call his employer lovely and fluffy, i have often had to wait until nearly 3pm for urgent post to arrive... it's certainly frustrating having to wait half a day for the post before you can go and bag yourself some free shopping at tesco!

in all seriousness, it's very noble to defend your employer, but there are thousands of people who are unhappy with the service received by royal mail, everyone is entitled to their own opinion...

They are usually valid for 6 months so you'd probably get some with an expiry date of end of April 2011.
  • Have been reading through this thread with great interest. I received my rewards yesterday. I now have a total of £120 (£480) but have never traded any vouchers in.

I know this is gonna sound really dim but can someone please run through how to do it?

    Thanks in advance.

depends what you want to get..

you can look online at the partner rewards. if you find something you like you purchase the vouchers by adding them to the basket. it will tell you how much you need to spend at what it works out at.. thehn you are asked to key in your numbers from the vouchers received. they then send you the deal vouchers..

Or you can take htem in the shop and exchange them for double up ones on selected stores.. (make sure you find what you want first so you know how much to exchange)

theres also take them in store and spend them but this you only get what they are valued at rather than 2X or 4X..

not to sure how to do the exchange online :( trying to work it out myself as i wasnt to order some clothes.
  • Thanks very much, will give it a go.
  • My mum gives me her clubcard vouchers, would I be able to buy Virgin holiday vouchers with her clubcard vouchers?
