Citi card to Opus: Will existing Life of Balance transfer be honoured?

Before I had the letter from Citi Card about transferring my account to Opus Card Services, I had received a letter from Citi Card saying that they were going to increase my APR. As a consumer I had the right to cancel the card and the interest rate is fix while the balance is paid off, this I did.
Then the letters about transferring my account started to arrive quoting a higher APR. I contacted Citi and was told it would transferr at my current rate.
Got my first statement from Opus and the rate had gone up. I've now had two phone calls with them. They say they are charging me at the lower rate but my balance has come down and interest charge has gone up.
I've now sent the statement back to them with a comment on it for them to send a corrected statement. If that is not correct back it will go again0 -
I had a Citicard with about £5000 on the balance, as soon as I heard they were selling my account to Opus (debt collecting agent), I cleared the balance without delay.
Now opened a AA creditcard, I get 2% back on petrol and 1% on everything else, woohoo. As long as I clear the balance each month I'm quids in.:j:j0 -
Someone mentioned that the transfer of some citi accounts to opus may be as a result of bad credit rating - I'm not sure this is right as my credit rating is good but I too got transferred to Opus from Citi...0

I was wondering why I got transferred over to OPUS, at least they are honouring the £999 I still owe them at 5.1% APR fixed until paid off....
