You should get your CC vouchers by 19th November, if you convert £20 of them immediately into restaurant tokens you will still be able to get 4x the value, provided you do it on or before 5th December.
When I've done this in the past they have sent generic reward tokens in £10 denominations - I previously thought they "had" to be used at Pizza Express but since found out that not only can they be used at most restaurants in the scheme but also on anything that is not "buy in full".0 -

Round here Tesco are never that cheap for fuel anyway. Along my commute I pass various garages, of them either Shell or Texaco are almost always cheapest for fuel. Both do loyalty points - Shell Drivers Club equates to 0.5% rebate, Texaco StarRewards equates to 1%.
Not completely convinced whether there is any difference between supermarket and branded fuel but as the branded is the same price or cheaper I can't see a good reason to get fuel from Tesco. If Shell's marketing is to be believed their new standard fuels are more efficient, can't say I've seen a difference yet, but they certainly don't seem to be any worse than any other...student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0 -
Oh well it was good while it lasted. I shop at Tescos as it's the only large supermarket close to me. The other alternative would be a 24 mile round trip. The tokens have done me well.
Over that last 3 years they have saved me around £400 in eurotunnel crossings. (They work well on eurotunnel as they have a bog standard rate, not a different one for voucher holders. )
I have also just booked a 7 day trip to Las Vegas with Virgin holidays for early next year. I had saved up about £300 in clubcard tockens. All I have had to pay was air tax and fuel duty, plus a hire vehicle upgrade. The whole for holiday for 2 came to £1900. So with the 4 x value all it is costing us is just over £350 each. Absolute bargain and I am pleased as punch. Although generally expensive for holidays Virgin are very good and don;t limit the holidays available on the offer. If they have it available they will sell it to you on tesco vouchers. In fact between checking the price and then phoning back to book 2 weeks later after I received my vouchers the price had actually gone down. I presume this was due to the more favourable exchange rate. :T
I see the vouchers as free as I was shopping there anyway and I do all my spending on their M'card and pay it off at the end of each month. I don't tie myself up in knots wondering how much I am earning, I just wait until I get my statement it;s always a pleasant suprise!
So enjoy it while you can after all they are free. I think I will chop in my next ones when I get them and hope i can find something to spend them on in the next 6 months. Mmm maybe another trip to France on eurotunnel or a weekend away at one of the hotels. It's great spending someone elses money.
As an aside saw updates on terms and condition in the notification letter "we're taking the oppertunity to refresh our terms and conditions to cut down on the occasional abuse that happens."
Some these are " You may collect up to 30,000.00 points in each statement period"
" To help us reduce fraudlent behaviour, we may cancel clubcard vouchers for any suspected breach of the scheme."
Doesn't say what the breaches are but I suspect the well publicised loop holes and codes may have helped push this change on it's way.

Expiry date is usually 6 months from the end of the month the vouchers were issued, in my experience.[/CENTER]Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
Not too sure where Tesco and their partners are coming from on this matter. As their partners seem to want more and more vouchers than what you can get the price of their product for by paying directly.
Used to buy my RAC Membership thru the voucher scheme but this year bought years membership directly from RAC for £122. As opposed to £56 OF CC vouchers which we are told are worth 4x their value= £224.
Merlin pass got 33% off + 8% cashback thru Quidco.
Even holidays you have to pay full brochure price.
Think certain restaurants with 2 for 1 vouchers that are printable off the internet haven't thought this one out as the extra cost could tip people in to going elsewhere.0 -
Damn. Got £2200 off my £3300 florida package holiday this year.
Have £1922 (£480.50) of vouchers still and at least £260 (£65) to come in November.
Virgin are to reduce the maximum useage to £525pp and only 3x as well is not good.
Plus reading the T+C it isnt possible to save up vouchers beyond the 2 years and roll them over like I have been doing when they are about to go out of date.
Looks like I will spend them all by December, If I choose Florida again it will be a bit risky to wait till the 5th December to redeem the November statement ones.0 -
Hi paul.jacobs have you thought about changing into airmiles depends on how many people are going but they do not have expiry date like your vouchers we bkd flights for may next year and looked on websites for accomadation very good prices try alpha rooms. Unfortunately they already reduced airmiles with tesco from 60 to 50 your £545 would give you 10900 miles florida is 6500 per person the old rate would have been enught for 2 ppl but they do weekly offers which some people use but you would have to be flexible. But if they are dropping how much you can use with virgin the more cash you have to add on top makes it less of a bargain. We had the advantage that we got our airmiles when they were doing a double up promotion back in mar time for first time converters don't know if they are likely to do this again0

Thanks - we are a family of 4 so the Virgin package offer is the best for us, did a quick search and can get 3 weeks for £4650 next august or 1 weeks Butlins in August £1236 for a basic apparment or about £2000 for a luxury one (if there is such at Butlins) . Number crunching tonight for florida next summer.0

Impact to the customer to maximise their profits have been kept to a minimum for years. They have done everything they can behind the scenes to reduce costs (price squeeze on suplliers, moving IT and internal call centres to India making 100s of uk people redundant, employing large numbers of underpaid polish workers in the depots and telling the uk staff they have to take a paycut to bring wages in line) so now its the customers turn. have you never thought how Tesco could afford this and sell clothes at a couple of quid.0
