I use mine for RAC membership. Is there any time limit on the use of the voucher?. If not I might buy next years now.

  • I think the petrol drop is the worst...

It was 1 point for every £1 spent = 1p in store / 4p rewards

    Now it's 0.5 point for every £1 spent = 0.5p in store / 1.5p rewards

Not good considering the majority of my points come from petrol!! Might be better off going to morrisons instead now.

    1) There's no change if you pay with a Tesco credit card.
    2) Nectar card halved the points for fuel purchases sometime ago, and
    3) You won't get any 'points' from Morrisons!
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

Any chance they'll be adding Tesco shares to their rewards programme? :D

I doubt it, but some more 'partners' are being added, many of the current partners have been overloaded with bookings - since double points came along - hence the protests here on non-availability.

  • i wonder if there will be any changes in the "buy in full offers" eg blackpool Pleasure Beach ...was hoping to use My clubcard vouchers for days out during next years holiday i Blackpool

suppose i will just have to save a few more points now

I think Tescos logic is flawed, saying we are better off with double points and 3 x rewards: you don't get double points on everything - for example not on petrol - and also, there are nowhere near as many extra points till spits or vouchers as there used to be. (Wine club, baby club, food club etc etc). I don't get anywhere near as many points at the end of a quarter as I used to - about half in fact. So definitely WORSE off.

I bought this a couple of years ago and I seem to remember that they were valid for 6 months. HTH

    1) I don't do credit cards. Cash is king.
    2) Never use sainsburys or BP for petrol
    3) Morrisons gives 1.5p per litre, slightly better than Tesco's new scheme. Vouchers can only spent in store though.

I recently changed some of my clubcard vouchers to a £40 voucher for use on wightlink ferries,
After getting quotes for prices i called to use them and then discovered that the savings made by crossing in the non-peak times (ie after 6pm) were negated by the voucher as it could only be redeemed on the premium rate fares.

In my opinion, your best to use the clubcard vouchers for your christmas shopping or fuel and use the normal MSE ways to get the better discounts on items through the clubcard voucher scheme.

Personally I just use them all for airmiles anyway :D
