At least you got the £200 back from the nasty man.

Children don't you just love them!

Fencing is so expensive though when you get contractors in.

Had a bit of a windfall today 500 quid from my grandma - so has gone in the OP pot.

Mum is also giving me 2500 it was going to pay for having my front garden sorted, but have decided to OP it instead.

So should have 6000 to OP in Nov when I get my allowance back.

Still feeling deflated about the garden - but not letting it hold me back. OH gets his annual bonus at the end of the month and we are going to finally have the kitchen re plastered after the water leak last summer.

Also going to repaint the bathroom, have a new shower now, possibly put a bathroom cupboard up something like that to smarten it up. Repaint the hall stairs and landing and then we will be happy with our house.

I've been clearing the front garden ready to put flowers in. Possibly need to get someone in to clear 8 trees from the side but will see - not essential but may be worth it.

Next door but one have put their house on the market at less than we paid for ours in 2007, which is disappointing, as theirs is nicer inside and extended compared to ours. She has a son that goes to the same play group as my DDs so hopefully get the full story soon.

What's happening with the garden? Are you having problems? I'm always checking house prices of local property, prices just don't seem to want to climb.

Just not happy with the landscapers, it cost a lot and we're not very satisfied customers.

My obsession with local house prices is because we are due to re mortgage next year and I'm really hoping for 70% ltv, I'm doing my best Oping, but also need a decent valuation to help the cause

I hope you can get it sorted :)

Our LTV is around 73% so be nice to get that down to 70 or even 60%

Had a fab day with my family in York. I took my kids to see the house my dad bought 'unseen' at auction. Very exciting. It is a great great house and I would love to live in it - but we can't afford it.

Had a great day with my sister who also came to have a look round and my auntie.

Falling off the wagon moneywise at the moment as I've had to pay for my laptop to be repaired 80, and a course 75 - these are a lot in my budget. Plus it is DD2s birthday on the 5th of July.

Mum and Dad have bought her a rocking horse and a trampoline so as ever they are pushing the boat out for a very special girl:A

DD's birthday is getting close now. Am sure she will love the trampoline. I want to get one for DD but yet to find the right one at the right price.

Loving my new safe garden. the girlies have spent most of the last few days out there playing on their slide.

Have spent the last three days painting the new fence, is taking some doing. Just done it boring brown wood stain. Now going to paint the new wall a nice shade of green to finish it off. Although this evening the weather has turned and it is chucking it down:rotfl:

Feeling a bit fed up (again) as we have had another fight with the in laws and they are now refusing to look after the girls every other week for 2 hours so I'm probably going to have to leave my job. I start work at 4pm, and OH leaves at 5.30. So it's literally just from 3.30 til 5.30. I don't earn enough to warrant childcare for two.

Was liking having a job again as well.

I knew something bad would happen with OH's parents as they are very very difficult. Two of their four kids have nothing to do with them, and they didn't see us and our kids for 5 months last year after another tiff.

On the plus side at least they finally admitted that they favour their youngest, OH won't let on why although he said that they did tell him and apparently it was a very flimsy excuse, but the acknowledgement was there. I'm dying to know hopefully will be revealed soon.

It sounds like you're better off without them tbh, it's not good to rely on people that aren't very reliable. ( Even if they are relatives )
