  • I'm sorry I am such a disappointment :p;)

Had a lovely time, lots of laughs and chatter, and it was nice to meet some new people :) I struggled to get home too, there were frozen points on the line, and I had to go all the way into Glasgow, but my husband came and picked me up there :) It was minus four at that point!!

Marie is at the airport just now, and will be off home shortly, I think her OH fell a little bit in love with La-Cara, he was trying to match her up with their son! :D

It was lovely to see you all, hopefully we can do it again when there is sun in the sky and no snow on the ground, and the others - who were missed - can manage too.

    Thanks for organising us La-Cara!

:cry::cry: am gutted. It did snow here all day on & off though, we've had about a foot so far, we are snowed in today. Whole village will soon be out shovelling like mad. WIsh you could all do another meet in springtime or summer..:(
  • We definitely will!!! We missed you, and everyone had lovely things to say about you - and we're looking forward to meeting you IRL. I'm afraid there was no Guiness consumed, we were ladeees and drank wine all day! :D

Glad you had a great time.
  • Next time you definitely need to come - We'll do it somewhere that's easily accessible no matter what the weather. :D

Mardatha - JackieG is right - we were saying it was a shame you couldn't come. Roll on the next meet. Forgot to say earlier - big thanks to La Cara for organising it.
  • Goodness, just heard from Marie, Edinburgh airport has been closed, they are bussing them over to Prestwick airport and hope to fly them out later, I am worried though, as I live about 40minutes from there and the weather is awful up here. I hope they are safe, and that Ryanair will put them up somewhere if they can't fly them out.

Blimey! Pernod! I've not had that in a few years. :D

I used to drink it in my late teens, early 20's, which is *cough* a year or two back now ;)

Glad you all had such a good time, meets are always such fun. Feel gutted for you Mardatha that you couldn't make it :( But next year, eh? :)

I met my OH in an online MSN chat room 10 years ago (yes, really) and met him for the first time when a room meet was organised. We had a few over the years, and they were always great fun. Sadly, as most of us were spread about all over the country, we don't have them anymore, but I have very fond memories of them.

Thanks for posting the pic csarina :T it's so nice to put faces to names
