Six inches of snow and still falling, I can see the traffic on the A7 very scarce and crawling. I wont come this time, be silly to risk the snow gates shutting and not being able to get home tonight. Wouldn't do my ME any good trekking around in that. So we need to organise a summer one now ! Behave yerselves ladies :D
  • Aww that's a shame Mardatha. But you're right, you need to be safe. I'll have a drink for you ;) Have a lovely day anyway. I am running late, my hairdryer isn't working, and I can't leave the house with wet hair it will freeze and snap off!!

  • We have snow too and it seems to still be falling, I have someone coming from Haddington in a few mo's will see what they say about the raod. I will be driving down either to wallyford or Newcraighall, not risking the back roads to Drem........hope to see you all later, will text La Cara if I am not able to make it........sorry Mardatha is not going to be with us, but as she says not a good idea when the snow gates can close and shut you out........we will do something in the summer for sure.......

We had no internet for 8 hours yesterday and it might go off again today. The Sky is not working it always goes weird in snow. If I vanish its not cos am huffy, its cos I'm not on ! LOL
  • We have sky too, it went dilly dolally in the winds the other week...silly thing, my mobile dongle worked fine though so no TV but I could watch programmes on Iplayer.

I am undecided whether to set out or not, it keeps flurrying with snow......keeping my options open just now.....

aawww Mardatha I'm so sorry you can't come! Blimmin' weather! DH had to scrape the car this morning -1.5 at 9am and I'm sure a lot colder with you in the hills. Keep warm.
Deleted_User - hope your roads are ok. It's fine and sunny here in Edinburgh itself but i know it can change quickly.
Looking forward to seeing folks at Filling Station.

The whole village is out clearing cars, and the snow still falling but not much now. Is frozen snow, the stuff that feels like sand in your face. Not heavy but the sky is dark . A day for a good book or knitting at the fire, not a freezing cold bus full of folk coughing and sneezing... :(
