I'm still firmly of the opinion that I'm taking the epilator nowhere "north of the border" as it were. Upper and lower legs - fine. Anywhere else - not fine!

For anyone else with an epilator - let me repeat a valuable piece of information once more - do not, I repeat, DO NOT be tempted to stop epilating through the winter months in the same way you might with shaving. You know how painful it was the first time you used it? Well multiply by about 5 for the discomfort felt when returning to previously epilated legs after a period of regrowth! _pale_ _pale_ _pale_ :rotfl:

I probably need a list for today again, which should include the stuff I failed on yesterday!

Wow Essex, your thread moves so fast, thought I only had a page to catch up on!

Epilator - ooh no, couldn't do it, I bought myself one of those electric buffer type thingies, got it with my Boots points a few years ago and have hardly used it. It's only really good for legs, not underarms or 'north of the border'.

Nooooo - I'm not brave! First time I used it it practically reduced me to tears, and, like waxing, I found myself (much to MrEH's amusement) saying "OW OW OW OW OW!!!" the whole time!! :o It does get better as time goes on though - mainly because the regrowth gets sparser I think....although backs of knees and ankles are still *very* "OUCH!" :rotfl:

I thought mine was one of the slower ones! :D

Is your buffer thing one of those things that sort of rubs the hair away? I can't use those at all - I tried Silkymitts a few times but they always bring me out in a rash. :(

List is getting there. Filing next, I think!

Having thought I had sorted out the change of DD on the Gas account with British Gas, they have now written to me to tell me that they are changing out payments.....to exactly the same amount they were before! I can sense a phone call coming on...!

Sachet of leather wax arrived from NikWax as a freebie for doing their web-quiz - and reminder set for me to do it again in three months!

Gosh epilating sounds extremely scary! Good luck at wrangling with the energy company!

    Evening all! :D

Before I forget - my list for tomorrow, and my meal plan for the rest of this week so I know where to find it!

Washing from Airer > fold & put away
    Washing from Machine > Airer
Next lot of washing > Machine
    Washing up
    Pack up remaining eBay stuff
    eBay stuff > Post Office
Fiddle with Matrix logo for website chap
Email revised logo to website chap
Read through insurance information, check and if OK file away
    Last Avon books out
Pop a slip through final customer with an outstanding delivery's door asking her to contact me re delivery
Pay money into bank (can be done thurs if I think it's worth waiting for final order)
Do Avon returns - 2 x watches, perfume that refuses to spray...!
    Print returns form for Avon
Pack up returns ready for courier
Do list of books for MrEH to check/collect next Sunday
Cook pork in tomato sauce in slow cooker ready for re-heat Wednesday

    Meal Plan:
    Mon: Soup & bread
    Tues: Fish Pie
Wed: Slow cooked Pork in tomato sauce
    Thurs: Mushroom omlettes

Was intending to have a NSD today but got side-tracked for a wander round Primark while I was killing time waiting for MrEH this evening, and happened to spot that they had their sleeveless and long sleeved thermal tops reduced down to £2 each. I've been looking at these for a while as they will be ideal for wearing when we go up to the Hebrides in a few weeks time, and at that price decided I'd be daft not to, so got one of each. Other than that though quite under control still - Grocery budget is looking pretty good and the eBay sales went really well - sold 24 items for around £70 total. :D Couldn't believe the 4 items of Clinique makeup from Bonus Time offers went for over £10, and I also sold a Queen "Magic" metal badge for over £10 too! Have just noticed that, in spite of my listings all stating clearly that I only post to the UK, someone from Italy has won 4 of them. Have just sent her a message with tongue planted firmly in cheek asking for her UK address so we'll see what gives!
