thanks EH that sounds just like what i was sold before. I have trouble with concealer-ey type products as i feel they rely on you using foundation and i don't use any make up at all. *says very quietly* i don't even use moisturiser let alone cleansers etc. I feel that i could be thought of as being completely weird if i said that on that board lol but they probably know that already.0

LT, as a regular on that board - we are all weird in a way! From some of us having over 50 shower gels (not me), to endless make up and so on. One thing just keep repeating that when you have too much stuff some of it inevitably goes off or a bit bad. So sometimes whether or not we want to squeeze every last drop out of everything, sometimes you have to just say goodbye. Why not go over there and lurk a bit. I've learnt a lot from it. My habits are still not perfect but I'm work in progress.
Keep up the good work EH, look forward to hearing your plans.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

hi Mine, i do subscribe to that thread and post but i don't often seem to have many use ups to comment on. My habit appears to be Sanctury but i am working on it,i haven't bought any myself for a couple of years. But i've had some gifted to me.0

Blimey EH, I had no idea what had been going on....think we have been missing each other in real life.
Sounds like you are organised and finding ways to replace some of the lost money, in fact, I am envious at how organised you are!
I tend to look serene too (apart from when the boys are playing up)...but also be completely disorganised at the same time.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Blimey - it's that "organised" word again, and this time from someone who actually knows me in real life!Yep, it's all been a bit eventful since the beginning of September - TBH it was only really Pat, Hays/Lesley & Chris that knew the full story, with Sue S & JL having a rough idea (which JL probably forgot within about 30 seconds anyway!
) It was why I couldn't do the end of season bash though - no way we could afford it at that stage not knowing how things were going to work out. I AM going to the meal in January so if you're going we'll no doubt catch up a bit then.
LT, Like Mineallmine says, we all have our weak spots - and for lots of different reasons too, It was only in the early days of the thread we were talking about that I realised that my habit of hoarding things like my "nice" bath stuff, body butters etc was because in some way I felt that I wanted to save them, for what, I'm not sure, but it was almost like a fear of using them up. Daft eh? I struggle with not ending up with masses of shampoo and conditioner, but tend to run out of things like bubble bath I have now found. My change for the better has been that as we have gone through I have found the stuff I really really like, and will continue to buy in the future because I know they will be used, and enjoyed. Watch 'em though, they're a bad influence, I've now developed a distinct fancy for Soap & Glory products - this time last year I'd not even heard of them! :rotfl:
Been into town this morning - was going to walk but the weather is disgusting, cold, windy and raining, so took the car instead. Spent £1 on the car park but at least I got 3 hours for that. Got a few more bits of christmas shopping and also exchanged the boots that I got changed the other week as the soles had started splitting in exactly the same place! Went in Sainsburys for eggs but they had none of the £2.50 15 x free range ones so came out with soup and milk instead. :rotfl: Grocery spreadsheet has been updated and now averages at £1.69 per day. I need to do some creative thinking as to exactly what I need to buy for next week I think. I got the cheque the other day for the remaining £50 due back to me from the sharesave scheme I was paying into with the old company so that's been paid in, and I got a few more little bits and pieces for christmas presents too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Not sure about the meal in January at the moment as pennies are tight here, my parents paid for it last time but not sure if I can trouble them again this time as my brother is getting married on Christmas eve and they seem to have pulled the short straw in paying for a lot of it...
You always appear organised to be honest...and (I hate this word), sensible, think the only time you appeared a little flustered was when you was showing me that picture you have of two certain riders in nothing but towels!:DWe made it! Oh yes.....forgotten about that!!
Should mention for everyone else that Sue and I both support Ipswich speedway and know one another from there!
Quick Update:
Grocery budget is looking very respectable. I do need to allow for the fact that I need to get washing powder, washing up liquid, and cat food, and also want to take advantage of the half price whole salmon offer in Tescos. We usually buy a couple, lovely fishmonger Steve takes the two sides off for us and then just packages them up bones and all and we sort them out from there.
Got given a brace of partridges earlier in the week and will be popping those in the SC for tomorrow night's dinner I think. This week's meal plan went a bit sideways so I need to give some thought to how best to plan for next week to try to make sure the same thing doesn't hapen again.
Not sure whether I might get an extra days work next week - would be ultra-useful if I did though. Avon delivery is coming on Monday but other than that I could do the Tues/Weds/Thurs for them and have let them know accordingly. Avon orders this time are down a bit on the first two lots I did - I guess it's just too close to christmas now. Hopefully the next one should be good as it's the sale book and apparently often proves popular.
Christmas shopping pretty much all done now. Just need to get a few last bits for my Great Auntie's gentleman friend who will be coming to us with her for the afternoon and evening on christmas day.
Must remember to check the banking tomorrow or Saturday ideally. The chap is coming to do the storage heater on Saturday morning so we'll need to have cash for him.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

EH next time you come this way for speedway we'll have to try and meet up for a cuppa.
Thanks for the warning about Soap and Glory, nearly typed Gory there lol! I think i'll always be after the cheaper ranges (not that i consider Sanctury to be cheap) as i see splashing out on these things for the like of me is a waste of money. Also because of my excema i worry about trying new stuff as it would get just wasted if my skin doesn't like it.0 -

Cuppa would be good - Apart from SingleSue and Palema I've not met anyone from here. I love Sanctuary stuff too - especially the Mande range - delicious smelling stuff. Someone said that the Kyphi bath stuff was nice too and I must admit having had a sniff at it a while ago it did smell lovely. I'll be heading to the Boots Clearance after christmas at some stage so will have to see if they have any of it there.I know Sue too

You do indeed!
FF's Spendy Elves have been keeping me company today - first was the Soap and Glory set (which is gorgeous, but has to go back tomorrow morning as it has bits missing) then came a small fortune spent on Walthamstow and Borough Markets. On the plus side though we have a fridge full of delicious cheese, some fantastic bread (some of which was consumed this evening and was truly Om Nom Nom, and some cheap veggies from walthamstow. Lunch was beer and Salt Beef sandwiches in one of our favourite pubs - and we are talking serious sandwiches too, neither I nor Mum in Law could finish ours!
New storage heater being fitted tomorrow :T🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
