In Oct the water park will be closed btw.
If you havent got transfers arranged, pre book them. As skintas says the taxi situ at Girona is murder.You can easily wait an hour.

I haven't booked transfers, I've been advised you can wait up to an hour for all to board then its a drop off at all hotels, all in all being 3 hours till you reach your hotel. Thanks for the heads up on the water park. Waiting on a confirmation booking email for the hotel..............as we speak *nervous laughter*

If its the Don Juan or Guitart Central, prepare for the invasion of the 5ft Spanish people.
I've not noticed it with younger Spanish men, but once the reach 60 they seem to shrink by a foot and the Spanish government must give them all a beige cardigan without any sleaves:D

They are in Barcelona.
Plan 2 days. One do a tour, 2nd start at Plaza Catalunya, and walk down Las Ramblas, the human statues are amazing. Lots of interesting streets off Las Ramblas, and down to the port. Wander round there and back up Las Rablas, should take all day.
Weather in Oct is a hit or miss, so plan extra excursions ie Girona.
