Still pay for postage £2.99 if basket is under £35.

Any ideas which delivery service they use? Royal Mail? I ask as I have gotten RM to keep mail at delivery office due to dodgy neighbours, so if it was another delivery service I'd be concerned the parcel might disappear if I'm not in :)

If you close to £35, find a cheap item to get free delivery, my order was 2p under £35, added a capacitor for 13p and saved paying postage.

If your concerned about who delivers the item, I'm not sure but worth giving them a ring or put a note on your door in a day or two.

If you spend more than £39 at Maplin, you can qualify for a free gift. Type in code (in the vouchers board) in the vouchers when you check out. It puts in a remote control plug thing, price £15, then gives you £15 discount. If you then remove the plug, it keeps the discount in place! I only found out by accident, but they have honoured it and I got my order this morning (placed yesterday).

Plus quidco at either 6% or 2.5%, not sure which.

    Hope this helps someone :)

will try later...these scumbag thieves owe me money (£30) after selling me useless items that lasted 1 week and 4 month, but they wont change them because i cant find the receipt, even though i have a bill and the item and packaging has maplins branding.....i have now boycotted this shop....we arent all thieves....just looking at taking them to court over it

steal from me and ill steal from them

they say they dont have records when by law they are supposed to keep 6 years minimum (unless they have special dispensation - which i doubt)

hope they go bust, the quality of their items is shocking...my 1st item has been replaced 4 times in 4months (reckon they forgot to give the receipt that time), the other lasted 1 week...had 2 other items that lasted 6 mths and 2 weeks (but money back for them.......items from dealextreme are FAR better and up 10 times cheaper

Great deal, too bad the only thing I was looking for was an mp3 player, and the one they have for 39.99 is unbranded and doesn't work with windows 7 (according to reviews). Ah well.

£40 for an mp3 player are you mad....buy one dealextreme like i did....same as the ipod nano but usb and same sound quality as my iphone, earphones are not great but i dont use them as i use it as a source for my car stereo...cost me $6 delivered

Just to update, this isn't working anymore! They must have updated the website, you can still add the free gift but when you take it away the discount doesn't show any longer :(

I got a back order confirmation email from them for the original amount without the discount. Has anyone else had this, and if so am I going to be charged the full amount do you think? :(

Not sure on that one. I had an email confirmation, without discount noted, but on my account on their website it did show it.

Have had an email today re dispatch of the Hexbug habitat but the 2 x hexbug nanos are on back order. Will wait and see what happens in next week or so. If nothing shows up then will be returning what I have to shop.

(By looking at quidco, I have two expected cashbacks noted, the first for £27.98 as on checkout total, the second for ~£15 - not sure what that is about?)
If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:
