Interesting thread. I missed the original discount but have read with amazement. Think of it this way. Maplin have given you £14.99 cash for them to keep one energy monitor sat on a shelf in their warehouse. Places like this end of line products all the time and 'lose' money on the rrp. They have just given you the money for it. They will just write it off as a loss in their accounts. If they sell those £14.99 monitors again for £7.5 which could still be a bargain they have only lost half the money.

hey guys, couple of questions: Those of you who cancelled and refunded what happened? Did they ask for goods back if you had received them? ?If you had not received them did you get your refunds ok? If you did not cancel did they chase you up?
