Can anyone tell me when is the best time to cancel my direct debit. The £1 came out 2 days ago.

Cancel it now if you want. I usually wait till I get the 3rd issue, but I have cancelled it a few days after they have taken the £1 - its up to you.

I phoned to enquire where my headphones were. The bloke said he didn't know and would put another set in the post !
Phoned again to find out if the first set were actually posted and got the same spill about i ordered too late on 17th Feb.
I actually ordered on 15th !
He also said there was no chance of me getting the headphones.

I got a letter informing of the DDebit, the day after they took the money!

Wrote an email to them, asking where the headphones were. Replied within a day confirming the phones were due to me. They could not find my second order made at the same time. Gave the details and after 2 days got a letter saying I would not get the pheadphones as the offer had run out and the processing of the roder happened on the 17th way after I'd ordered.

Wrote an email asking who in head office had said this, and informed them I'd contact trading standards, also said I had a recording of the order and a phone bill showing the call date and duration. This was last night at 1pm.

This morings 9am post and one set of PMX60 (£22-£34)!

I'll update you on the second set.

I think it might be a combination of unexcepted demand, and poor staff / process at the company?

Email them and provide the details of your order etc, they are just trying it on!

doh!!! should have read posts more clearly, had same thing, told me i orderd too late, when i didnt so i cancelled the subscription before they took my £ :j
