and to clear things up Epic Fireworks sell to public as well as tradeA desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy0

Thanks very much to the poster for posting this by the way as there is a lot of people who like/need to buy from supermarkets afterall this is MSE. But even if you have £30 or more I would deffinitly suggest visiting an all year round seller if you have one near you.
For everyone that is asking where you can buy fireworks instead of going to the supermarkets I suggest that you visit 'The Great Cheap, Safe Fireworks Hunt' which has a range of different pictures of what people have managed to buy so far this year as well as several recommendations about where to shop. For those who have to buy from a supermarket then have a look at that topic and you should be able to see whos selling what.

Also on the subject of banning fireworks, I don't agree atall! People who say go to an organised display, why not do both (money permitting). Our local display is free so we usually have a few fountains in the garden to start of with, visit the local display then let off our bigger pieces after woods. This way you get the best of both.0 -

Here is the link:

To be honest I really dont know why they have that printed on the brochure, but they do sell to anyone (over 18 ofc!) Anyway, I've told you and so have a couple of others on here and you can email or ring them and they will be more than happy to sell to you.0 -

I'm fairly sure Epic would not turn you away.
I think where the confusion perhaps lies here is that they are generally geared around selling in quantity (although they do sell singles from the shop) -which is why the discount is so good.
They are not really targetting the small selection box and packet of sparklers crowd.0 -
It is all a bit confusing, apparently the Epic contact us/branch list is/are not for firework retailing, S Yorks branch only do this, and Epic fireworks are Jimmys Fireworks but strictly limited to trade and business only?
Think this is the brochure.0 -

We always go to our local massive FREE council run fireowrks event.
As long as you wrap up warm and have your wellies on its great fun, and gives a much better fireworks display than we could ever provide, its a fab night out, theres a fair and you can take your own sparklers, and theres nothing stopping you taking your own food either.
Plus we know its safe, we not gonna have a firework go BANG in our faces.
I would rather spend £50 on food and fairground rides for the kids with an amazing fireworks display, than some fireworks at home that fail to amaze for the same amount of money.
40,000 other people must all agree with me as thats how many turn up every year.
hi i do agree organised fireworks displays are better s i could never afford the sort of fireworks they put can i ask which council you are with as i know leicestershire do not do anything like that0 -

Yeah organised displays are only better if you enjoy being restricted with no sparklers allowed/having to walk on muddy fields/struggling to see the fireworks thru crowded viewing points and pushy spectators squashing you/having to live with anti social youths/being ripped off for overpriced food etc.0
