Vanilla, I know what you mean. My MIL always tried to do the ironing when she comes here but I take this as critiscism, not least because I know she meows on to me about how she always had to do the ironing for his XW.
Yep i take it the same way while hubby thinks it's great. MIL has a spare key so just lets herself in. I know she does it to help but it really annoy's me.
Dinner now done so time to fill the DW and get it on, WM i think is finished too so i'll reload it.
Toots over here at the minute there is loads of bomb alert. Seems to be sortednow so at least the road is open.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

I've stopped mine doing it, since its clear she fully means it as reproach for having an ironing pile at all - Mrs Never worked and had help will not judge me since I work full time and don't.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Last night was the ball and I can tell you it was great fun climbing out of the said window in 4 inch heels and a pencil skirt!
OMG That is sooo funny! I wish I had seen it.......Yep i take it the same way while hubby thinks it's great. MIL has a spare key so just lets herself in. I know she does it to help but it really annoy's me.
Me too! My MIL puts creases down the front of jeans too, so they have to be done again. She only visits 3 or 4 times a year though.....
Well I have just learned how to do multi quotes, so am well chuffed. (assuming they work?)
I have done lots and lots and lots of flying AND I haven't had a kip today. Off to feed the cats then look at our dinner. DH is out on his bike AGAIN but has helped a lot today. More lycra to wash later.....
Xfactor and some chocolate after that. Except we have no chocolate! Will send DH out while I cook.
Enjoy your evening everyone

Nearly time for airport run again. I'm so stopping on the way home for chocolate.
Rhys has started the crying already and i'm not looking forward to tonight. If he's no better by monday i'm taking him into the doctor because i think he might have sore ears.

). Scarily I've also had to get some proper running kit (windproof top and wait for it... running leggings ) things I never thought I'd be seen outside in, but its too cold to run in three-quarter length gym leggings now
I'm also going to be spending this evening working... I have corrections to make to a presentation (two VERY detailed reviews to digest, it wasn't a good presentation really), and a research paper to draft (copious notes, but I CBA to turn them into sentences, tables and diagrams
)
But the good news is... I had to go and buy some extra bits for my suit today (its not cheap, but they do a core range every year which works with the previous season's, so you can mix and match) as I'm travelling 4 weeks out of the next 5(and three of those are full week trips) so need more long-term packable stuff. And I did the usual thing of taking both a 12 and a 14 into the changing room and for once decided to try on the smallest first. And it fitted :j perfectly :j. Admittedly it doesn't mean I'll be a 12 everywhere, but it DOES mean I'm about a size and a half smaller now than I was this time last year...
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. Guess I'd better go and find some food before lighting the fire and settling down to get some of this work done. I MUST find time to fly and do the gardening (oh... and pack for Monday's trip - 4am start ) tomorrow.0 -
This is the new £111 dresser, the bare bricks behind is the chimney for the bakers oven - sadly not recovereable. Will eventually replastered but the poor suffocated house needs to breathe first.
I do have the full set of plates so not an excuse to buy more! I do need a dark wood dining table and chairs now though.....'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
